“Great food but staff look bored and act fed up”

Was at Cats at the weekend and the food was great. Generous portions. I give the food 5 stars but because of the surly, miserable, fed up looking members of bar and waiting staff, we felt we were intruding into their personal space just by ordering a drink. (read more)

Ate here last night. The quality of food was very bad indeed. The food was generic, batch processed food tasting as though it may as well come from a packet! One sauce fits all dishes sort of place. Not going back. I've been living in the area for 10 years & never seen any change, cleaning of walls, furniture update or any effort to keep up with the times. (read more)

The Cats Cafe Des Artistes is better for friends than romance. Although there is plenty of art and memorabilia on the walls as if it is somewhere new! The fish pond and plants are lovely. Finsbury Park, Thai, Cats Cafe Des Artistes - This place deserves to be in the west end where many pretenders are serving poor quality Thai 'food'. The ambience and comfort is second to none and the staff are not pushy. Great choice of draught beers and comfortable lounge style seats! (read more)
