Good Points: Cute as puppies and very laidback, sweet natured.

    Bad Points:

General comments: Cute but why ? English Bull Dogs Can have dreadful health problems, those I have seen cannot cope with much exercise or heat, very unusual for them to be able to breed without LOTS of help, rarely self whelping either, not even able to care for its pups without lots of assistance according to breeders. Just looks completely deformed !!
I do like them but, just wish they could go back in time to a more natural looking breed. Shame.

English Bulldogs are awesome if you are looking for a pet. They are not dogs to take on a long jaunt or travelling (much,) and they are NOT guard dogs!! They would be more likely to lick an intruder to death than to defend the family silver. They are wonderful with children, and extremely tolerant of the pokes and rough play they may get from a child, mainly because they just want love and affection. They are very loyal and calm, and can even be funny. And they do draw lots of attention and sm ...

I recommend the English Bull Dog for those looking for a tough dog capable of providing love and care to kids and family members and at the same time protect a home or apartment. Because of the size, the English Bull dog is like have a Rottweiler but minature. Besides all the attention it gets in the street, the bulldog is great with kids, but beware other dogs. I do recommend you castrate your dog before he reaches one years of age if you do not plan to breed him. The dog seldom barks, is v ...
