Haus Patricia was really fantabulous. Staff are really doing a very good job. They made us feel so much at home and was always at hand to give a hand. Keep up the excellent job. God Bless.

We were met at the airport with a big smile and a welcome what more could one ask for. We had our 21 year old daughter son of 18 and daughter of 10 and spent a magical Christmas in Haus Patricia one we will always treasure and remember fondly. Lofer itself is fantastic great value for money as a ski resort especially compared to other ski resorts - restaurants also great value and great service and very good quality of food. Home from home with the friendliest of hosts.

Beautiful apartment. Lovely owners. They were very helpful in telling us about the area and where to visit. We had great fun white water rafting just up the road. Bikes were easy to hire and the routes were lovely. We spent a whole day on the bikes and even took them up the mountain attached to a cable car then cycled down. The scenery is beautiful. Everywhere is very clean. Great holiday. The weather was sometimes wet but we still found plenty to do with the owners help. Having a hire car gave us the freedom to travel around and see loads of lovely places around the region.

Great apartments. Great breakfast. The staff are very helpful, especially good at advising us on where to go and how to get there. We went on some great days out. The white water rafting just up the road was great fun. Cycle routes are very good. Scenery lovely. Everywhere is very clean. We hired a car and was able to see lots more lovely places.

Spent a week here at the beginning of July 2008, and had a marvellous time. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who were a mine of information for things to see and do. Ideally situated for touring the local area. We drove over and the car was useful to drive around further afield.
Will definitely be returning.

Lofer is a delightful place for a family vacation. Excellent restaurants, fabulous walking and skiing, great photo opportunities, showing Austria at its very best.
Haus Patricia was like home from home. The owner could not have been more helpful. She was proactive in assisting my family in the organisation of skiing, sleigh ride, restaurants, transport, specific breakfast requests and more. We stayed in a spotlessly clean environment with very friendly service everywhere we went and the scenery was stunning. We had a fabulous time in this lovely place

Even with the poor snow conditions found in Austria and all over Europe Haus Patricia and Lofer proved to be the ideal location to enjoy what snow there was.
Once again Amanda and Richard were the perfect hosts, what with Richard being there at the airport to collect us and Amanda being forever flexible when half your party drops out at the last minute.
You can get to Leogang, Kitzbul and Zell em Zee within the hour, on the bus that stops just metres from Amanda's front door. The price of the bus is a lot less than you would pay in the UK. Even if you did not plan to visit any of these places it's well worth the effort and with the first bus going at 8.15am you don't even loose that much piste time.
Once again, Haus Patricia has come up trumps.
see you all next year.

Travelling as a family party with two teenagers who wished to ski, we had a great holiday over New Year. Excellent value for money and with a central location within Austria, it was easy for non-skiers to visit Salzburg, Bad Reichenhall, Zell am Zee, St.Johanan and Kitzbuhel. Great value flights from Manchester with low cost airline.
Highlight was a horse drawn sleigh drive.

Haus Patricia, Lofer is a great place to visit if you are looking to ski for the first time with a young family. The accommodation is value for money, the location is a short commute from Salzburg airport and everything in the village from ski lifts to eating are all within a short walk from Haus Patricia. The village itself is very pretty and the ski-ing was great for souls like us who hadn't been ski-ing for 4 years. To our surprise our son, not yet three, wanted to go into ski-school and absolutely loved it. The teachers are very friendly and helpful, as are all villagers (not something you find everywhere when you go to purpose built ski resorts!) We are definately visiting Lofer next year. A plus point will be if the creche at the ski centre Sturm is up and running next year?!

Had a great few days skiing this February. Amanda and Richard were perfect hosts.Haus Patricia accomodation is total value for money and if you compare it to what you get in the UK, you WILL be surprised. Very clean and the breakfast was just what you need for a days skiing. The resort is very friendly and the skiing, all be it not overly challenging if you are of a higher standard, is very picturesque and a nice resort for persons of all levels, plus you can ski right to the bottom of the main lift. The lift and ski hire is literally 600 yards away from Haus Patricia and getting yourself set up to have lessons and hire kit is very easy. There are a number of restaurants in the resort. Menus are varied and the food is extremely good value for money. Remember to book your seats early in the day ! Overall, my group were very impressed with the resort, accomodation and the hospitality. This isn't a hustle and bustle resort, but it is every bit a picturesque part of the Austrian way of alpine life. Thanks again and I look forward to coming again soon. Hope you enjoyed the bacon I brought over !

It all started when I accidentally found Haus Patricia's website while searching for a suitable ski challet in Austria. The rest is a fairy-tale. I gathered a group of 11 friends and rented an apartment and 4 rooms. The house is clean and warmly decorated. The hosts are friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast is very good. Parking is sufficient. The slopes are pretty and quite diverse and the snow for us was superb. Kaprun, Kitzbuhel, Leogang are indeed within easy reach - up to 45 minutes drive. Overall - a highly recommendable stay. We are bound to go again sometimes, even for Summer maybe. Thanks for everything and keep up the good job Amanda!!!

The smell of fresh mountain air greets you as soon as you arrive at Haus Patricia and once you see the mountain views, you're absolutely hooked! The 6 days had were no where near enough to explore the beautiful valley.
Amanda and Richard were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they always found time to give you helpful advice to save you time and money! Plenty of tips on where to go and what to do, best places for dinner etc. and all spoken in English!!
Rooms were excellent (our view was just as shown on their web site) and a lovely breakfast was provided before we set off to explore the beautiful valley.
If you're not driving and want to explore further afield, ask your hosts! Regular bus service runs from Zell and See to Salzburg. Much cheaper than my local bus! Lofer to Salzburg return journey cost us 12.60 euro each and Lofer to Zell am See was 9.80 euro return.
If you like walking/hiking/mountain biking this place is a must, with its miles of excellent rad and bike paths along the side of the river and accross some fantastic scenery. These walks cater for all abilities and are signposted and numbered - even tell you how long it takes and idicate eating places too. And I can say that I found eating out no more expensive than UK. But customer service was much better!
Staying at Haus Patricia gave us free use of 2 local swimming pools, the lower cable cars and local gorge walks, for the duration of our stay, using the Salzburgerland card scheme.
What more can I say - check this one out - BUT DON'T FORGET THE CAMERA!!

Haus Patricia is a warm & welcoming guest house with excellent rooms & stunning views towards village & mountains from the balcony. Short walk to village, restaurants & bars. Amanda & Richard go out of their way to make you feel at home. Personal service with transport to/from airport a bonus. Gym & sauna with privacy also a bonus.
Overall excellent value for money & we are definitely recommending to others at home.

Haus Patricia:
This was our first family skiing holiday although we had been skiing before but without the children.
Could not fault anything about the holiday, first class information, warm welcoming accommodation, everything you could wish for.

We had an ensuite room at Haus Patricia and the other two in our party had a self contained apartment on the same floor. This ment we went round for 'tea and cakes and creme eggs' after our day out playing in the mountains. Great sauna in the basement adding to your relaxation!
The Bradleys were very nice people and took care of transfers, lift passes etc. We want to go back soon!
Location is close to everything you need. Walking distance to the lifts, staggering distance from the small bars, dashing distance to the shops. All 2 - 3 minutes away.
