Bad Points: We had to come home after a week!!!
General comments: Beautiful apartment. Lovely owners. They were very helpful in telling us about the area and where to visit. We had great fun white water rafting just up the road. Bikes were easy to hire and the routes were lovely. We spent a whole day on the bikes and even took them up the mountain attached to a cable car then cycled down. The scenery is beautiful. Everywhere is very clean. Great holiday. The weather was sometimes wet but we still found plenty to do with the owners help. Having a hire car gave us the freedom to travel around and see loads of lovely places around the region.

Great apartments. Great breakfast. The staff are very helpful, especially good at advising us on where to go and how to get there. We went on some great days out. The white water rafting just up the road was great fun. Cycle routes are very good. Scenery lovely. Everywhere is very clean. We hired a car and was able to see lots more lovely places.

Spent a week here at the beginning of July 2008, and had a marvellous time. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who were a mine of information for things to see and do. Ideally situated for touring the local area. We drove over and the car was useful to drive around further afield.
Will definitely be returning.

We have stayed in Haus Patricia twice but this time decided to try Richard and Amandas new Studio. Set very central to both lovely villages Lofer and St Martin and such lovely river walks away it was the most beautiful positioned accommodation possible ever. With our terrace opening out onto a lawned garden with wonderful mountain views and all day sun we were in heaven! Nothing too much trouble, lovely family, would definitely recommend and come again. Although we didn't know any language, the village was gorgeous and people were accommodating and very friendly. The staff deserved their weight in pork pies and, in fact, demand this from their guests. They're fantastic hosts. Wonderful holiday, see you in January!

The most amazing holiday I have had, never even thought about a winter holiday before, but now I am addicted to snowboarding, only got back 5 days ago and I am looking to get booked in again! Apartment outstanding, Lofer the most beautiful picturesque place I have been to. Snowboarding superb, book now you will most definitely not be disappointed!!

The best holiday we have ever had. Thank you to the staff for all your help with our first visit to Austria. We had a fantastic time learning to ski and are looking forward to coming back in the summer to stay in Haus Patricia.

Had a fab time in Summer 2007, already booked to go back Aug 2008. Amanda, Richard and Christian warm, friendly, welcoming, willing. Lots to see and do, all local facilities perfect. Scenery stunning! Can't wait for August...

Lofer is a delightful place for a family vacation. Excellent restaurants, fabulous walking and skiing, great photo opportunities, showing Austria at its very best.
Haus Patricia was like home from home. The owner could not have been more helpful. She was proactive in assisting my family in the organisation of skiing, sleigh ride, restaurants, transport, specific breakfast requests and more. If you want to relax come to Haus Patricia, if you want to be energetic come to Haus Patricia, if you want stunning scenery this is for you.
We sampled cable cars, river walks, bike rides, ice caves, gorge walks, traditional Austrian culture, chilling by a pool, I could go on.
Full marks to Lofer itself and full marks to the hosts!

This was a completely chilled out and stress free holiday in Lofer, which we really enjoyed and we would definitely consider coming back to Haus Patricia again. There are plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy during the day whatever your abilities are rounded off with a nice glass or two of wine on the balcony looking out over the mountains what more could you ask for - bliss!

What an excellent place to visit, we were beginners at skiing, my son who is 10 can ski excellently now and I can ski too, the ski school is very good and instructors are friendly.

Even with the poor snow conditions found in Austria and all over Europe Haus Patricia and Lofer proved to be the ideal location to enjoy what snow there was.
Once again Amanda and Richard were the perfect hosts, what with Richard being there at the airport to collect us and Amanda being forever flexible when half your party drops out at the last minute.
You can get to Leogang, Kitzbul and Zell em Zee within the hour, on the bus that stops just metres from Amanda's front door. The price of ...

Travelling as a family party with two teenagers who wished to ski, we had a great holiday over New Year. Excellent value for money and with a central location within Austria, it was easy for non-skiers to visit Salzburg, Bad Reichenhall, Zell am Zee, St.Johanan and Kitzbuhel. Great value flights from Manchester with low cost airline.
Highlight was a horse drawn sleigh drive.

We have just had a fabulous 10 days staying at Haus Patricia in Austria. The hosts were perfect, and the room was very comfortable. We will be recommending this holiday to family and friends, and we hope to return in the not too distant future.
