We stayed a Haus Patricia for one week in January 2013, and we booked the 2-bedroom flat for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The flat was great, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The tv had sky tv on it, and there was a dvd player and a selection of dvds for the kids and movies for us. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, and plenty of bed linen and so on. During our summer vacation in Austria (couple + 2kids) we stay in Patricia House. It was a very enjoyable stay and we will be glad to come back. Amanda and Richard are very welcoming and kind hosts. The apartment was very clean and comfortable including nice kitchen, refrigerator and dish washer. It was a pleasure to get a reach breakfast buffet every morning. What can we say about Haus Patricia than its the best holiday place to stay. They are fantastic in making our holiday so enjoyable. Nothing is too much for them and their kindness to us excels beyond hospitality anywhere else. The apartment was so pleasant and comfortable and pretty views both back and front. We found Haus Patricia, Lofer, via the internet earlier this year and can vouch that all the information given on their website is correct. Transfer from Salzburg Airport by Richard was very efficient. Views from balcony second to none! The weather for our stay was mixed (rain and sun) but we were busy everyday. Excellent accommodation, clean and modern, marvellous breakfast sets you up for the day ski-ing! Richard and Amanda are excellent hosts and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They recommend restuarants for evening meals and will book them for you too. We are returning for our 3rd successive year for more skiing. With 3 children this snow resort is perfect for them. We encouraged friends to book their last year with us and we are both delighted to say that Richard and Amanda are great hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and the location is spot on. Can't decide whether i prefer winters or summers here - they are both excellent in their own right !. Strongly reccommend staying here and some great restaurants and activities for all. (read more)

The accommodation views from the balcony would seal it for us but then the owners go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, happy, welcome and informed - without being intrusive, all your needs can be met. The outdoor village pool was fantastic & our 3 year old son loved the shallow paddling pools, playground, sandpit & grass areas around the pool. We loved the slide. Lofer, Haus Patricia is one of the best Guesthouses we have every stayed in .Immaculately clean great welcome and service. Lovely clean rooms with the most wonderful balcony views of the huge snow capped mountains (could not stop taking photos!!)

We were met at the airport with a big smile and a welcome what more could one ask for. We had our 21 year old daughter son of 18 and daughter of 10 and spent a magical Christmas in Haus Patricia one we will always treasure and remember fondly. Lofer itself is fantastic great value for money as a ski resort especially compared to other ski resorts - restaurants also great value and great service and very good quality of food. Great skiing, ideal for families, to learn and for the intermediates that don't want the "go for it" hard skiing holiday. Only 40 mins from the airport so even a weekend visit gets you a good ski refresher! Wonderful walking/biking every day a different route. Cheaper than most ski resorts, unspoilt and friendly, no crowds at the lifts. Not for the party goers! No 24hrs bars. No casino. IS THIS A BAD THING!!! Great holiday resort Summer and Winter. We were on our own here at the Haus Patricia for a couple of days after the other guests had left and felt as if we were somehow an inconvenience - in fact, so much so, that we left 2 days early because we felt quite uncomfortable.
During our first few days (when there were other guests) we had a good selection of breads provided at breakfast, yet when we were on our own this dwindled down to some bread rolls (Semmels). These are fine, but you can't put them in the toaster!

Sorry guest,I have to disagree with your review,and feel it is unfair and unjustified. We have stayed at House Patricia on several occasions and always found Richard and Amanda very hospitable. They always asked us if we wanted anything else for breakfast, my wife often has porridge, I have had eggs on occasion, however I did find the selection fine. I have recommended House Patricia to several other friends and relatives, all have been,all loved it, more than half have been back and are going again. Keep up the good work Amanda and Richard, don't change, the place or the breakfast its great, All the best, have a great Christmas,

Have had two marvelous summer holidays at Haus Patricia - the staff could not have been more attentive. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble - their attitude is very positive, friendly and accommodating. Any personal likes/dislikes, foodwise, taken into account at breakfast, with alternatives to set menu if wished. Comments after our first holiday there had been taken onboard by the time our second holiday came around - this couple are friendly, honest and incredibly helpful. Would recommend Haus Patricia to everyone.

I cant believe that a guest has said they felt unwelcome.It could not have been more the opposite.We have just returned from a week ski ing and nothing was too much trouble for them,whether it be booking evening restaurants,local knowledge,events or just a friendly chat.We cant wait to return.

Bikes were easy to hire and the routes were lovely. We spent a whole day on the bikes and even took them up the mountain attached to a cable car then cycled down. The scenery is beautiful. Set very central to both lovely villages Lofer and St Martin and such lovely river walks away it was the most beautiful positioned accommodation possible ever. Even with the poor snow conditions found in Austria and all over Europe Haus Patricia and Lofer proved to be the ideal location to enjoy what snow there was.
Once again Amanda and Richard were the perfect hosts, what with Richard being there at the airport to collect us and Amanda being forever flexible when half your party drops out at the last minute.

As non-skiers we were initially concerned about going on a 'snow break'. How wrong we were! Lofer is an idyllic place and Haus Patricia is a real find. Amanda and Richard couldn't have done more to make sure that we had a great time (booking restaurants, sleigh rides and generally providing ideas). Well this is the first snow holiday we have ever had, Haus Patricia was fantastic. I'm 48 and I learnt to ski. Our son of 14 and daughter of 16 took to it straight away. My wife who decided not to try, loved the walking, and toboganing. We booked for the end of the year before we left. You must try the tobogan run at St,Martins , the restaurant at the top of the hill makes the walk worth while. I disagree with this review because...we have stayed on our own at the beginning and end of the Austria seasons and we received more attention because of being alone! breakfast was always tasty and we only had to ask!
