They offered us a speed of 19. 5 and are only delivering 8, after an engineering visit it was shown the line was only ever able to take 8. If you go on their website they are still offering my nieghbours 19. 5. They are mis-selling a product they cannot deliver. They are rotten to the core and liars and wont give me my money back. BT are one of the worst ISP's I have been with, for starters whenever I am in the house on my own the internet tends to be slow even though I am the only one who is accessing the internet, that's atrocious, whether I am browsing the internet, playing games and so on the internet is absolutely awful, secondly the Ethernet cable doesn't make an improvement in fact my internet is worse with it, BT staff are lazy and seem to have some sort of problem with coming out to fix the problem, well i'll be… Read Full Review

“Terrible Customer Service- Do Not Sign Up with BT”

This is the first time I have ever complained about a service, however in this case I thought it was merited. Originally BT set-up 2 accounts for me, obviously I didn't want 2, so I went about sorting the problem out. Anyway, once the account was closed they charged me around £150 for the privilege of closing the account they mistakenly set-up. “Still waiting for fault to be fixed!!”

Bt make promises that are not kept to !! Try and speak to an English person! You get directed to BT India who does not speak very good English. It is so hard to understand them. I have reported continually about not having internet or a telephone line!! Promises of when it will be fixed is a lie. No engineer, and it has been 10 days now !! “Dreadful - promises not kept”

I moved house on 29/01/2016. I had my land line and broadband supplied by Sky who told me they do not have a service for keeping landline numbers at a different address. I contacted BT, giving them my new address including the post code and was told by them that I would be able to retain my landline at the new address. “BT Leaves you needing therapy, AVOID!”

I was a customer for about 6 years and it was ok but not perfect I did need to complain a few times over the years, still took my broadband and calls,but this last year has been horrendous. I was recontracted last december and they said they would bring my monthly calls and broadband down to £11.15 a month and sold me line rental saver at £169, but did not mention if I left within the 12 months they would not refund any of the advance line rental saver. “Good service until something goes wrong”

I have been a customer of BT's for a number of years. The service itself is quite good, but when something goes wrong, be prepared for drama. The customer service in the UK is very good, but the service from India is very poor. I have BT Unlimited ADSL Broadband and telephone with Evening & Weekend Calls. “Dishonest, Terrible what more can I say”

Didn't have a working phone line since I moved from Sky to BT Broadband. For some reason I couldn't dial out from my landline since the switch. Contact first made in June, engineer turned up on the 1st of July, 3 Engineers later and countless calls, problem fixed at the end of September Discussed compensation, they will call back bla bla bla Called to seek compensation again in October, they claim I raised the problem in September!!!! despite on record Engineer visits. Absolutely disgusted with BT. Lied to about when my area would receive infinity. Was told it would be about 6 months - well that was a year ago and still begin told 'possibly' 6 months. We ordered BT on the 29th November 2014 to be installed on the 22nd December when we moved into our new property. Before the installation we had several ‘yes we will be coming and no we won’t on the 22nd December.’ I rang on the 21st December and they confirmed that they will be coming. “disgrace ”

these bunch are a disgrace. It's took 4 weeks to finally come and put right the damage THEY done the previous time they were at my house installing a new upgraded land line. A novice worker completely ruined a circuit box (or what ever there terminology is) I wish I had just stuck with my old line as this has been the most endless weeks of my life.
