Good Points: Can't seem to think of any

Bad Points: Furthermore I have difficulty understanding what I'm being told because I have trouble understanding accents when people talk way too fast are not clear and the call centre seems to be outsourced to India. The man on the phone didn't appreciate being asked to slow down and repeat what he said. I don't have problems with the call centre being in India if indeed it is but I do think its a fair request that your customers can understand your staff CPW!.

General comments: Not Impressed. I switched over from BT to Talk Talk/Car Phone Warehouse to try and get lower bills, Sainsbury's were to blame they courted me with offers of lower bills in the supermarket with switching phone and electricity and neither turned out to be the case in the end for either supply. Arranged to switch back to BT today (and the electricity is now with SP). I find that my 3 monthly bills are hardly any lower if at all than my quarterly bills with BT and the customer services is not good at all. I have in the past spent too long on hold or waiting to be connected to an operator. Today there is a landline fault, people can riny my number but the voicemail doesn't kick in just the message 'the number you have dialled has not been recognised please check and dial again". You'd think that this is a problem they can fix themselves but no they need me to be in the house to assist them in this.

I have been connected to talk talk now for the past 2 years after having the worst experience of my life with british telecom. I find the service fast reliable and the customer service has been second to none

Really impressed with service I got from Talk Talk today.......been with them now for over 2 years with no problems but a few days ago our phone stopped working. We rang up customer services and reported the fault...had an automated voice and had to press numbers to answer questions which was awful must admit....BUT within a couple of hours they had sent an engineer out to sort out the fault. They also kept me informed via my mobile what was happening! Like i say, REALLY IMPRESSED. So used to ...

OMG. Once I was connected, a fault developed on the line which they couldn't fix for almost three weeks. Each time I would ring Talk Talk on my mobile I would have to explain the story again. and again. and again. and again. There's more - but I can feel my blood pressure rising again - I need to rest.

Talk talk are the worst company EVER! I have been sworn at by advisors, been hung up on, been promised call back afetr call back. Had over £160 taken from my account illegally by them and so on. In the end i e-mailed the chief executive direct and have been given a lifetimes supply of free broadband, all my money back and compensation of a fair amount! Let me just make this clear, i was never rude to them, i got frustrated yes, but never rude, my niece works in a call centre and always lec ...

Was with them for over a year at my old address with few problems although I did find their broadband problematic at times - but hey it was free. Since moving house nothing but problems. Nothing has been done by the dates they have given me. When I call customer services I get a different person every time who just seems to be reading from a script rather than being able to sensibly answer a query. They even told me I had my first name wrong as they had a different initial. (Obviously I must hav ...

Been with talktalk for nearly a year, I was stopped up town and signed up for an 18 month contract. I must say I have saved a small fortune, what with the free anytime calls and free broadband. My only niggling issue is you really do get what you pay for, take for example the phone service. Intermittently i seem to experience no dial tone, and sometimes when I call out it displays random numbers that is unrecognisable as a uk number. This aside the phone service is ok, no major issues and is c ...

Talk Talk offer free calls and at the time i took on broadband it was free. They need to have more contact with there customers. Bad points are: Kept on the phone for half an hour at a time. Never pre warn you of any updates on broadband just cut you off with no explanation.

I went live a few days ago with Talk Talk and called them today to sort out some Broadband and phone issues. On the first attempt to talk with someone about confuguring wireless, I was in the telephone queue for ONE HOUR. I'm not exaggerating. I watched a bit of telly and had lunch whilst that awful music droned on. Finally got through and the lady was useless for my needs. Called Talk Talk back after trying to sort it out myself, and was in the queue with rubbish music for THIRTY FIVE MINUT ...

I called TalkTalk a few weeks ago to discuss my home move, I was told that it would cost £29.99 plus BT wholesale charges to install the new line, feeling a little grieved by this I discussed this with BT and decided that the service wasn't good enough with Talk talk to stay. I agreed to pay out my contract and finish with them by giving them the 14 day notice period. Called back , was told that i didn't have to pay the cost of BT, cancelled anyway. The next day my line was disconnected 1 ...

Have been without a phone line (no dial tone) and Broadband for 40 days before finally after 16 phone calls they sent a engineer i originally requested. The fault was not of my making nor my responsibility as the problem existed outside of my home which when i called i was told if the fault is found inside your home you will have to pay £140!!!!! Ive had some really poor customer service experiences in the past but this is up there with one of worst. Comminication between departments of ...

They didn't send me a router, they didn't inform me when the land line start working now they wont me to pay £85, I'm not going to pay. I tried to migrate services to TalkTalk but they got it all wrong and I ended up with no phone line for over a month. Finally I gave up and went to a different provider but Talktalk had trouble releasing my line, even though they couldn't get me connected! Eventually they accepted their mistakes, in writing and I got a new service provider. Six months later they are still sending me bills for a connection fee and "service charges" I have written and written to them. I have repeatedly phone ...

If I knew the service was going to be so poor I would never have gone over to Talk Talk. It may be cheap but if something goes wrong, I have struggled to get any sense from them.

In my opinion Talk Talk offer a cheap basic service for personal use - do not think of it if your living is at stake! Web hosting i would avoid as access seems only available about 25 % of time.

I have been with TalkTalk for 2 1/2 years and when I first took my broadband contract out with them I was told that there was no free broadband in my area but I could expect there to be within a few months, therefore I took out my contract and agreed to pay the £10 per month. 2 1/2 years later, after numerous phone calls to ask why I am still having to pay, I am STILL waiting for my free broadband and the last straw came last month when they sent me my bill with a leaflet enclosed askin ...
