Bad Points: none just got my 08 its everythink and more.
General comments: Great looks massive power got mine reduced to 8k and then free insurance saving £800 that a real price of £7200 fantastic compared to the blade at 2k more.
If you can handle the power its by far the best 1000 out there engine just keeps on spinning.

All in all, I love my 2008 Kawasaki ZX10R with passion. I mounted the Pregon Scientific ATC3K camera on its handlebar. The video production turned out to be of decent quality but more importantly, there was only a slight effect of "vibrations", something I did not mind. They say that the 2008 design was a whole new design from the previous models, including the 2007 ZX. And that is very correct. The 2008 ZX10R is a slicker design with a lot of modern features. Oh, the breaks on this bike are abs ...

This bike is one of my favorites still. There is endless and surprising power. I have been riding it for 2 years now and she can still make my heart pound when I twist a little extra. Seating position is great and feels like a 600. Very nice styling that is still better looking then the newer models. Painted mine black and white and it looks brand new. Respect this machine cause it is just raw power and a hair trigger.

The bike is very stable, turns impeccably, and is quite quick to roll from side to side. The throttle response is good and the gear ratios are nice although a smaller front sprocket would probably make the first gear feel a little shorter which would be nice. The standard suspension settings are very nice although the standard tyre pressure is too high.

I cant understand why anyone would want more power than stock... I bought my Kawasaki ZX10R with approx 200 hp. So the suspension has been hard to find a happy medium for all the condition I ride in... change the exhaust and LEAVE IT STOCK. 1 click harder on suspenion settings is a good start on everything. Suicidal at high speed without a steering dampener. Legendary machine in the right hands.

The Kawasaki ZX10R 1000 is easy to ride, easy when you want to and a total weapon when you want it to be, pilot power 2's are excellent.

I have ridden the RI, the Blade and the Gixxer, this bike is the best the engine will pull from 35 mph in 6 gear and pull your arms out you need to set the suspension up and away you go its not a bike for plonkers or bike journalists.

I have owned my 10 for around six months now and still get a shock when i twist my wrist riding it. awesome. I have done a few mods, akrapovic can, PC and had it dynoed which certainly helped. I have done back to back tests with a K6 1000 and it felt as strong but slightly more aggressive in power delivery then the suzi. The only down side was the low down grunt was a bit weaker which i sorted with a tooth less front sprocket. It was not as comfortable as the suzi, but as I got it for track days ...

Being fortunate to have owned the Kawasaki ZX10R 1000 2005 model and now the 2006 the new one is miles ahead of the 2005 which was only suited to the race track. The new model delivers awesome power but is smooth with the delivery only trouble is trying to keep the front wheel down when really going for it in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The brakes are the biggest disappointment and would recommend the first thing you do is buy some HEL brake lines and some uprated brake pads. The Dunlop qualifies that it ...

All my previous bikes have been Kawasaki's but I find the Kawasaki ZX10R 1000 to be the best of the 1000 superbikes. I test-rode the rest and did not get on with any of them as much as I did with the zx10r.

It is better to ride a fast bike slowly, than to ride a slow bike fast, but if you had to choose, why not get the bike that does both, and one that everyone respects that is fun to ride? The Kawasaki ZX10R is a very capable bike for some to ride - not all. It is not a forgiving bike.

Kawasaki put together a not so bad all rounder with the ZX10R 1000 but the build quality of the bike is very poor. I have read reviews on ZX10s and think owners have not had their machines long enough to recognise the faults. The ZX10 does not ride very well at speed and you get terrible tank slap and that is with the steering adjuster on full. I have owned many big bikes of different makes and now realise that I should have spent the extra and bought a good old blade.

I bought this Kawasaki ZX10R as an American import for £6500 new. An absolute bargain in my eyes as they were being sold everywhere else for just under £8000. The only difference being that if it had come from California (which mine didn't) then there would have been an emissions restriction in the exhaust. Also mine had American indicators which I replaced for nice flush ones. The bike has done 1500 miles and every twist and turn has been with very little effort, as a true sport bik ...

I have owned and ridden many bikes from the YZF-r1 through to the Busa. When looking for a new bike, I read the magazine reviews saying the Kawasaki ZX10R 1000 was a handful and did not handle as good as others.
I rode the Gixer 1000, the new R1 and the 10R. The 10R felt like it had the strongest motor and did not vibrate through the bars and pegs like the Gixer. Due to the short lenght the front can come up early if you do not have your weight over the front. However, this means super fast tur ...

The Kawasaki ZX10R 1000, a very rideable bike, which is very quick to turn in, and given this quickness to steer. It is suprisingly stable at all speeds. Best bike I've ever ridden. Answers every demand placed on it, immediately, and without problem.

The ZX10R 1000 is a awesome looking and performing bike.
I have owned many Sports bikes including the YZF R1, in my opinion the ZX10R is a better performing bike all round once you get the hang of it, and also feels much safer then the R1 when riding at high speeds which I believe gives more confidence to the rider.

Having ridden pillion on our ZX6, when we wanted another bike, we looked around. CBRs, R1s, Jixxers, nothing caught our fancy. Then came the pre-launch articles on the new Kawasaki ZX10R 1000, and we read these with a mixture of excitement and anticipation, mixed with a hint of cautiousness. The photos showed a fairly radical pillion pin cushion (you can't call them seats), which I was dubious about. At the NEC, we sat on the green meanie, and it was surprisingly comfortable. There were no grab ...
