Very disappointed with the Mirada Apartments in Majorca!
There was not enough space, and there was no garden area around the pool, so we were all squashed, as it was dominated by Germans. The hotel entertainers were pleasant.
The cooking facilities in the room were very poor. The staff were very helpful, as our air conditioning was not working when we arrived, so they gave us loads of fans, until it was fixed later that day.

On arriving at Mirada Apartments first impressions definately count and our first impression was "we've done well here. I can honestly say that those impressions did not change throughout the week. Located in cala egos about 20 minute walk to cala d'or centre
Don't book if you are looking for a lively clubbers paradise. It is laid back and ideal for couples or families.
La Mirada is very German but the staff are english speaking and their are certainly lots of Brits around.

We flew to Palma from Gatwick. Coach transfer time from Palma to Cala D'Or was around 1 hr 15 minutes.

La Mirada is a very attractive aparthotel with a central reception/restaurant/bar area and accommodation arranged in separate blocks. There is an outdoor swimming pool and volleyball courts as well as table tennis tables (they make a charge for the latter but it is very modest).

There was free evening entertainment for the kids and guest singers and dancers several times per week. ... (read more)
