We have recently returned from Calas de Mallorca.we stayed in the Club Cala Romani.there was just myself and my husband but we do have 4 young children so can tell you what its like for both couples and children.the hotel rooms are basic but clean and do the job!!we had clean towwels everyday.the food was lovely.i am funny with food but i really enjoyed the hotel food.the hotel grounds is fantastic.there are 4 pools all for different ages.there is a toddler pool in a shaded area with a park which is ideal for little ones.the nearby cove beaches are amazing.the sea is shallow for quite a long way so its nice if you dont like deep water!all in all the hotel and the resort was lovely and we are now planning to take our children to the same place next year.we loved it!!

very well catered for kids , beach not far , giant pool , daytime and night time entertainment for kids , food - something for even the fussiest eaters , located near bars , and amusments across the street are worth a visit and i would also recommend renting a £15 per hour peddal boat and go in the caves !

we stayed at the club cala romani in ocober 2006 and loved it ! for only our second time abroad ever , there was always somthing to do , you never got bored and the kids never ran out ...

Booked online for all-inclusive which was the first time my husband and I had tried this and would have no problem in going back to hotel in future. Found hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms were spotless. Entertainment was well catered for all in age groups.
Food was good well presented and plenty off at each sitting with the exception of my comment above on pizzas.
Would recommend it to anyone, couples & families a like.

First time I have went all inclusive, wouldn't again, food was not very well cooked and not easy on the eye. Staff were ignorant, not much help either at finding out information for you. No air con meant at night you needed to keep the patio doors open only to be invaded by insects. Only good thing I could say about it was the beach was nearby. The pool area was all too competitive ie. towels put down from 6.30. Sa Coma is down the road, wish we had of been there instead.

Pools at the Club Cala Romani were great for my 3 kids and the rooms were clean but in my opinion needed up dating. Food OK but not brilliant. The real put off was the Staffs attitude to another family we were with. Having two small children were shoved in a cramped room with a cot next to the hotplates when a bigger room had been booked on the details! The Staff did little too help the situation with their attitude and the family had to pay on top for a bigger room! On top of there were some bo ...

2 adults and 3 kids aged 5,9,12 in October half term. it is basically the end of the season at Calas de Mallorca, Club Cala Romani hotel and you could tell. We were all inclusive. The food was so bad it was quite funny at times, anything left in the freezer was being used up, ie thick cut wedged chips seemed to transform into roasted potatoes by the end of mealtime. Indeed some of the food was inedible ["fresh sausages",]and often incomprehensible{berlin liver]. Rooms were basic but very clean a ...

I read all the reviews of people who return year after year, and I am at a loss in understanding why? I trusted the reviews and thought I would give it a go. However, the holiday was a nightmare. I am 24 and went with my partner, 1 child and 1 baby. The children loved it undeniably, but that was only because of the pool.

The food is disgusting, lunch is left out and then reserved as dinner. No joke. Everyone I spoke to agreed. The food is as watered down as the alcohol! Honest. I can not desc ...

I don't understand holiday-makers who say the Club Cala Romani in Majorca was anything other than rubbish. NO Air-con in any bedrooms makes it totally uncomfortable for anyone to sleep in August, especially children. The Italian's get their own day-time entertainers, their own night club, and wo-betide any Brit trying to join them! I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who wants any sort of quality in their holiday, and in our opinion it is no better than a 1 - 2 star. Go to the Hotel Ameri ...

I would not return to the Club Cala Romani hotel in Majorca, as it caters mainly for Italians, Germans and French. I had to complain after 3 days, as there was no maid service, and no clean towels or loo roll. The food and drink was the worst we have ever had on all inclusive, and all the drinks had been watered down.

Booked this all inclusive holiday last minute and will definitely go to Club Cala Romani again. Lots and lots of choice in restaurant so even the fussiest of kids will find something good to eat. Plenty of sunbeds to go around and although it's a big hotel it didn't feel packed. Close to a great beach (10 mins easy walk) and to shops/bars etc (5 mins). Direct bookings taken for return guests! Maid service every other day - had a towel taken from balcony on first floor (could have blown away ...

We'll definitely be looking for another trip to Club Cala Romani in the next 12 months. It has a great pool area, 3 pools, including a shallow kid's pool. The all inclusive buffet is fantastic. This was the first time we'd gone all inclusive, and I was delighted with the service and food and drinks provided. Everywhere was really clean, the room was immaculate. This was one of the few places that catered for a family of 5. The resort was very compact, we'd hired a car, but really only used it to ...
