Good Points: Simple, but stylish display.
Bad Points: Glass screen easy to scratch.
General comments: I bought Fossil Big Tic for its gimmic, the display of seconds. The rear face of the watch is one big LCD (don't think black and grey, think blue and silver), which displays the seconds ticking by. The rear display is the same bright blue of the rest of the watch and so blends nicely. The seconds tick by in 7 different styles, from scrolling past to blinking on.
That said, the gimmic doesn't make the rest of the watch nasty, instead the watch is a simple minimalist style which is actually pleasing to the eye without the LCD display.
In addition the relectivity and curvature of the glass front and rear of the watch usually make the watch seem to be backlit and brighter than it should. It's all a trick though, there is no light.
On the downside, the watch is quite bulky and heavy, and the glass front is glass, so scratches quite easily. It also doesn't have a date display.
To be honest, you get what you pay for. It's a nice watch and the LCD display is rather cool. And for £65 you get quite a good looking, nicely featured watch.
