    Good Points: None. They are NOT cheaper than "real" stores so it's not even worth it.


    Bad Points: A lot; not living up to what they tell you on their site, each time the same flawed story etc.


    General comments: I ordered books and cds from Bol on several occasions and all ended up with the same problem: on the site they mention a delivery time of 2-3 and sometimes 4-5 days. When I order it's all okay and more than a week later I get an email that one item is not available and they don't know when they'll have it again.Please, in that case, don't say you'll have it in a few days and don't let me wait for more than the time you mentioned in the first place to let me know you don't even know when you'll have it again.The first time I canceled part of the order that wasn't available and 2 days later the album landed on my doorstep...huhuhm....2nd, 3rd and 4th time I canceled the entire order and do not plan on ever ordering there again. Waste of time and money. I wish ordinary physical stores would not vanish so quickly which almost forces you to buy of the internet these days.

    Bol - After ordering some Christmas gifts from Bol, I waited the designated 7 days - no books. I emailed a total of 5 times and received no reply. I then called. 2 hours and lots of swearing later I was successful only to be told by an advisor that we should wait 28 working days for our delivery, thus ordering my books on the 27th November would give me an approximate delivery date of the 28th January 2005! This is from a web site that is STILL advising that the last date for guaranteed Christ ...

    Bol - This is by far the worst internet sales sites I have ever had the misfortune to use. When I first came across it I didn't realise that it was a book 'club' and it wasn't until I had finished ordering 2 books that I realised that I had signed up to the book club and therefore have committed to buying more books - very sneaky.     I have always considered myself a reader, but it was only when I left full-time education and began reading for pleasure that I started reading properly. I set several rules for myself at that point.
