Good Points: Large. Range of features.

    Bad Points: Extremely unreliable

General comments: When this actually works, it is a very nice DVD Player/Recorder, but getting it to work is an entirely different matter. Sometimes it plays just fine, sometimes it switches to Auto Set-Up if you press play after pressing stop. Auto Set-Up, by the way, hasn't worked yet. This evening alone it has started working for no apparent reason and stopped working for no apparent reason five times. What I like about it is that it records DVDs and is relatively easy to use (when it's having an agreeable day). But considering how unreliable it is and how unhelpful the manual is, it causes more frustration than it's worth.

The Panasonic DMR-E60 is a superb DVD recorder overall.
Chasing play is handy if you come home after a programme has started. You can watch from the start while it's still recording.

I use this DVD recorder most days and have found it most excellent. Although DVD-RAM discs are rather expensive (£1.50 each on the internet) they are very reliable. After all, they were originally developed for data storage where the loss of a single bit could be disast ...

Bought a Panasonic DMR-E60 after much deliberation and research. DVD Ram supposed to be excellent, well!!!

The recorder would be more useful as an ornament as it records when it chooses. I am more familiar with the error process than Panasonic who say that they have tested the machine and it is fine.
Must be something in the water where I live because still erroring. Discs are highly expensive and all knackered by the machine.
If you have a choice find something else.
    I've converted to sky ...
