Not used Purple Parking before, but the price was right (worked out at just over £3 per day for the 20 days we were away) and the reviews were favourable so gave it a go. Could not be happier, everything went smoothly without a hiccup. Were at the airport within 30 minutes of parking the car, similar story on our return. There was a bus at stand 21 (Terminal 4) just dropping someone off, so no waiting for us. Straight back and dropped at the car. So quick, will definitely use again. (read more)

It was the cheapest rate I could find which I was very happy with with. The number recognition didn't work either way, in or out, but was sorted quickly by the operator although this delay caused a bit of a jam! Parking was difficult as the only available places were quite a distance away although the bus picked us up so it wasn't a problem just wished there were notices up to advise that there were no spaces as we wasted time looking & had to walk back to the car on the return journey... The meet and greet service was ideal for us. Just drove into the short term car park, left the car in the designated area, handed the keys to the attendant and took the lift into the check-in area. Upon our return to the same area the car was waiting for us. Perfect. It was effectively the same as parking in the short-term car park at a fraction of the price. The only negative was the car was pretty dirty after being left outside for three weeks of English weather, but I can live with that. (read more)

Just back from a trip that entailed flying in and out of Heathrow. Used the Purple Parking site in Southall which was excellent. Greeted by name, efficient hand over of keys, loading of our heavy bags and a rapid transit to Terminal Five. On our return we decided to have the car delivered to Heathrow for us to pick up. Previous stays have been superb, this time was frustrating as the price cash buster long stay has moved, when I printed the doc and directions it showed the old car park we have used on numerous occasions. This time we like many other drivers drove into the wrong car park, waited an age for the staff on the intercom to let us in and then out again, so we could go to the new car park. Have used this company before, some years ago and decided to park with them again. Big mistake. Was some distance from the airport (terminal 5). I had to wait some time for a bus, whilst others going to Terminals 2 and 3 boarded more or less straight away. Having finally got onto a bus, I then had to wait further, while the driver paced around- presumably waiting to see if anyone else turned up. They didn't. I guess I must bear some responsibility for not checking the exact location of my airport parking but I naturally assumed that it's location would be fairly close to the airport. In reality, it was a good 15-20 minutes drive away from the airport - with checking in the car and return transport, all I can say is that it's a good job there were no delays on the M25! I've used this service a number of times and have been very happy. This last time however, the car was not ready for us at Heathrow. The whole code for our return flight had not (apparently) been entered and so the computer didn't provide a prompt for our car to be driven to the airport. As a result we had to wait for our car. We were given a number to ring on our return but this was not answered and the line was disconnected. on 2nd ring we were answered after along period and told to go to F at terminal 2. Many others also waiting for FSS and we waited for 25 minutes at 1.30 am in the cold. When bus arrived it was very fulland we all had difficulty loading luggage. Overall not a good end to our holiday. We have used FSS before and not had this problem and are flying again in Sept, not sure if we will use them again (read more)

Prices are always competitive; more importantly, the staff are friendly and helpful and I have always found the service to be well organised and very efficient. My only real gripe is that PP's website only provides directions on how to arrive; there is no information on how to leave! YOU CAN DO BETTER Purple Parking run airport carparks all over the country and the majority of cases are without issue. BUT BEWARE...If you car IS damaged they will NOT accept responsibility. As with so many modern companies, the customer is never right. Liability for damage to the interior of my car was repeatedly denied by their 'customer relations' team despite the photographic evidence and my testimony. Booking process was easy, but at the end I got an error message instead of confirmation. Customer services responded quickly and confirmed booking had been made. Arrival at Gatwick was straight forward and efficient. On return landed at a different terminal. When telephoning to say through customs, Meteor (Purple's agent) knew I was at the wrong terminal and gave clear instructions on where to meet. Car arrived back within minutes. Have used this car park about 3 times before. I love it as it is really close to the airport, only a 5- 10 min journey. Regular buses which take you door to the door. We took our 8 month old baby with us this time and the drivers were really helpful with all our baggage and pushchair. It couldn't have been easier! Great online service and very easy to book. Felt reassured my booking would be safe. Only downside was that when I returned to car park to collect my car it was not ready. Somehow even after entering my time of return and flight details the car park where my car was stored had the information of my return a whole 12 hours later. I had to wait about 15/20 mins while they got my car for me which was quite frustrating as it was freezing cold, I was tired and it was around 2am in the morning. (read more)
