Arrived at Gatwick purple parking 24th may having booked and paid for car parking.Told no space as overbooked and to go elsewhere to find parking.Long stay having trouble coping with extra cars turning up so almost missed flight . Happened to us too ended up paying double the price in another car park not a word from purple. Not the stress you need when going on holiday will never use again!!

“Appalling Customer Service”

I have used this company twice this year. On the first time I and many others were queued up in the road waiting for space to be found in the compound. The second time two days ago I was kept waiting 30 mins in a queue waiting to collect my car. There was a complete lack of staff, no management help and staff were so fed up with being overworked they were actively encouraging people to complain. I went online at 10:10am to book parking for my trip to Paris and like normal I obtain a quote for a parking period from 05:30am to 15:30 (same day) and was given a quote of £22.95. I did at the time think it was a little high but I thought hey-ho that must be the rate for today. So I proceeded and confirmed my booking. “Broken down on way to airport”

After the trauma of breaking down on the way to the airport, I rang Purple Parking straight away to state I wouldn't be able to use my reservation As mycar was left on slip road to await recovery and I had managed to arrange a family member to travel to me and take me to the airport - we did get there with minutes to spare. Hi I am in the process oc returning from Tenerife where I have had a fantastic holiday, made more so because of the excellent service provided by your team at Gatwick. Basically I left my phone on show in the centre console of my car (reg shown above) and headed off to the airport. Booked made through Purple Parking at Stansted, though right from the outset the arrangemnts were with 'I Love Parking'. Excellent. Easy to find - swift transfer to terminal. On return - one phone call and we were picked up in 5 minutes and returned to compound. Our car was within a parking bay of the drop of vehicle - easy transfer of cases. “the worst experience in over 30 years”

Picked up at terminal three after a long time that we had been travelling so where looking forward to getting home. we were taken on a slow return to the car after driver had picked up another member of staff. Got back to carpark. Keys put on trailer mudguard and left us all to it. Had to ask where car was. Had to unload ourselves. Our car at exit others were all over the place. I booked meet and greet with PP Meet and Greet but they sub contracted it to "I Love Meet and Greet" without my knowledge. ILM&G returned a damaged car and then refused to take responsibility by hiding behind their terms and conditions which are on display at their car park. I turned up Purple Parking Gatwick on the 15th of February at around 5am with my parking voucher printed off only to find that I'd printed off an old booking. To make things worse there wasn't a booking on the system for me. The really helpful chap on the desk suggested that I may have booked with APH and he tried to ring them for me but they didn't answer. We have used Purple Parking meet and Greet several times and found it to be such an excellent service. Recently after a long haul flight we arrived back at Heathrow to be told our vehicle wouldn't start, we were taken to the depot by Purple Parking and looked after by all the staff so well whilst we waited several hours for the vehicle to be sorted out, they couldn't of been more helpful and kind to us. I used Purple Parking at Heathrow. The service was excellent and the drivers are good. There is no problem when you drop your car off and you just wait for the bus to arrive to take you to your terminal. The number to call to let the staff know you are back is 020 number which is great so there are no extra charges on your mobile as there would be if it was a 0845 number. “Avoid the Gatwick car park”

Returning from a 9 hour flight back to Gatwick North, Purple Parking provided just what I did not want: a long walk through the cold to the bus stop, no Purple Parking signs at the bus stops 6/7, a bus hidden away behind a queue of other buses, not at stops 6 or 7 (so we missed it, the next bus already full of passengers from the South terminal, standing room only when the other passengers had grudgingly moved along the bus, no room for luggage because of piles of skis. We were very tired after an overnight flight and were ready to get home as fast as possible, but on starting the car, there was no life in the battery. “When we returned to Heathrow after a 2 week holiday in...”

When we returned to Heathrow after a 2 week holiday in January it was very cold and our car didn't start. Our car has always been reliable but as a result of the low temperature the battery didn't have sufficient charge to start the car. I asked the receptionist for help and within a few minutes an employee came to our car with a battery and got our car started. Purple Parking made no charge for this service. DON'T BOTHER I today returned from New York and called Purple Parking to collect me. Over an hour later and three phone calls to the office a vehicle finally turned up. I was told by the lady in the office that traffic was bad due to a bus strike. The driver however told me there was an accident If you're going to lie, at least get your stories straight.
