It was very easy to find and had lots of signs as we got nearer to Purple Parking. The area around looks a bit industrial so the signs were helpful in that we knew we were going the right way. When we arrived it was very easy and efficient re parking up/handing over keys/getting on the bus etc. The only downside was that the drivers were all smoking outside the buses and it made it seem a bit downmarket. Excellent service, helps to make the holiday we were greeted on arrival handed over the keys and straight off to the airport, the driver was very jolly put us in holiday mood. On return I rang the office who explained where pick up would be and they where waiting for us, straight back to the car park where my car was waiting boot open ready to put in luggage and started up ready for off, on top of that they had also cleaned my car. excellent choice would definitely recommend and will return... On the way to the airport we rang Speedy Park 20 mins before arrival as instructed and after 15 mins waiting I had to ring again and then they turned up ten minutes after that. I was led to believe I'd been bumped as some 'regulars' had turned up shortly after me but they took their car first. On return they were great turned up as promised. (read more)

We went with Purple Parking as they were considerably cheaper than the on-airport companies. However, we also went for the service where your car is delivered to the airport on your return. Drop off was OK - although the directions were a bit vague towards the end ... you need to drive right to the end of where the satnav takes you. The overall experience was very good. Departure: The car park is easy to locate as there are a lot of signs to tell you where it is. The place you park your car is the place you get on the shuttle bus. It means that it save you from holding all your lugguages to walk to the bus stop. started off fine but the driver could have done with some driveing lessons. on the way out he drove like a lunatic, on our return we had to wait 40 min for our pickup and its only 15min from airport to purple parking they offered a 10 pound refund for the return but i think they should have given a complete refund as it was a complete fiaso would not use them again (read more)

Used PP many times at other airports and very impressed with the slick, efficient and courteous service.BUT NOT CSL AT STANSTEAD. Drop off point badly signed, extremely small and poorly laid out car parking area. Upon arrival, closest space found some 100m away in a car repair workshop parking area. Drop off worked absolutley fine, but our flight back was slightly early and there is no number to contact Purple Parking to notify them so we got to the car park collection point and our car was not there, so the attendant called the depot. Very easy to find, the minibus was just preparing to leave and waited an extra couple of minutes to get us on board, (we were early). It's just a 6 minute drive to Southend airport. We were given instructions to telephone when our plane landed as there is not a waiting zone inside the car park at the airport. Car drop off and pickup process for heathrow was pretty effective but you need to get there a good 45mins to an hour before you want to be at the airport. On the way back from T5 we waited 30 mins for a bus and then it was another 30mins before we were at our car even with no traffic, both ways it was more than 15mins drive from the airport. If you just want to pay the lowest price then use them, but I wished I'd paid more. (read more)

We paid the extra for the Purple Parking Business Parking, big mistake. Whilst waiting we had two of the regular, long stay, buses come and pick up other long stay passengers whilst we continued to wait. We tried to call the helpline number but it was constantly engaged. As a regular business traveller from Heathrow and being a regular BAA Business Parking customer this experience did not compare. Apart from the cost which is very good for parking in West London, the rest of the service was a let down. When we arrived we had to wait about 35 minutes for a bus to take us to T5 and on our return 50 minutes waiting. The people in front of us were waiting for 1 hour 15 minutes !! On our return we phoned to try and find out information about the delay but the operators were extremely unhelpfull and didn't seem to know what was going on. A super-efficient parking experience at Heathrow and at a good deal compared with the LHR fees. Finding the place was dead easy, just turn off at the big Tesco, then sharp left up the road and go to the very end and follow the big signs. Dead easy. Personalised welcome - a bag to drop the keys into - gibe keys to the driver and Bob's yer uncle. Very happy with the way car was stored, looked after, service was fine. My only problem was that when we were picked up from the bus stop, there were no calculations made as to how many people the bus could carry compared to how many were to be picked up. There wasn't enough space on the bus so I had to have my wife sit on my lap and our 18month old baby sitting on her!!!! They are cheap but the most rediculous thing I found was you have to leave the car keys with them and they are free to do anything with your car. They could squeeze your car into where ever they like. When I complained about the scratch they didn't bother and I had nothing to prove that the car didn't have the scratch before.
