Good Points: Flight was on time, no delays whatsoever. Airport is very clean and check in was quite quickly done. Security is very good at this airport, you go through 3 checks (1 on entrance, 1 at security and 1 before boarding) which makes you feel very safe! Departure lounges are individual, 1 per flight so you are almost guarenteed a seat! Boarding very quick and efficent!
Bad Points: I would not recommend buying food or drink at dalaman Airport as it is amazingly expensive. KFC bargain bucket: £30 35 euro $45 75 liras'! You would be better off buying food and drink before you come to the airport.
General comments: Dalaman is a clean safe airport with a good range of duty free products! I would recommend retailers of food and drink there out their prices down and they will find that a lot more people will buy from them!

Flight was nearly on time. Airport clean. Good choice of Duty Free. However, not a way to finish your holiday and to feel inclined to return...
So much for encouraging tourism and holiday home purchases.

There are no good points about Dalaman airport.. Bad points, queueing. Paying £17 for one Macdonalds meal, so many security procedures. The fact there is no smoking anywhere in the airport.

Dalaman airport is an acceptable airport. The new terminal was fine, very clean and air conditioned. However, the price of everything is horrendous. Almost £20 for two McDonalds McChicken sandwich meals, which is absolutely ridiculous! Check-in was quick and efficient, and everything went quite smoothly, although I wouldn't want to be stuck there delayed, especially considering the price of everything.

Arrived at Dalaman Airport on a coach. The coach was not allowed in to the airport to drop us off for 15 minutes as there were to many people already trying to get in to the airport. Once the coach had dropped us off we had to queue for an hour to get in as they X ray your luggage on entry. There is no queing system and so a lot of people just push in. Once in, we checked in which wasn't a problem, but then we had to queue to get through passport control. This took forever. The guys stamping you ...

Returned though Dalaman airport on 21 May 2005. The luggage scanning and check in procedures were both very quick.
The departure lounge was comfortable with plenty of seats, clean and air conditioned but this will probably be different in high summer!
The food and drink prices were horrendous - suggest you take your own if you don't want to spend a fortune, especially if you are delayed.
The staff in the duty free shops were very pushy and were telling UK customers that they could bring back ...

I suffered Dalaman and its checking for 4 horrible hours in August 2004. The airport size means its queuing system is non existent. Took quite some time to workout were the queue for our flight started. There check in process is a manual one. Not a computer in site. Passport control again a joke. An excuse to give someone a job stamping passports. Then the delight of the departure lounge and its assortment of overpriced food outlets and duty free shops were you are nearly hounded to enter. All p ...
