Good point Quick to get out of. Small, not very clean, no gates, poor service (luggage). The worst airport I've ever been to.

They now call this an international airport, but it is far from it, as they have no shops in the terminal building, very few rest areas, parking outside is non existent, Hotel(s), taxis, local transport?? Sorry, what's that?? And staff who behave/act like the military. Who do they think are paying their wages?? It's not the local government. It's the like of you and me and they can't even give us a decent airport. International?? The only thing International about Amritsar Airport is the people ...

The service was good The airport was clean, and it is very convenient for the people of Punjab.

They could improve the Amritsar International Airport building and access to and from the plane, but I would recommend to friends.

Anybody who wants to go to Punjab, Flights to Amritsar International Airport are the best. Now there are direct flights from Birmingham, London and other countries. There is no shop for food or anything inside the terminal, but Amritsar airport was nice and clean, and general service was very good.

When we landed at Amritsar International Airport , we were happy. Walked down the stairs and headed toward the building (terminal)...Entered the terminal. Then we had to get into lines for immigration. We witnessed "known" people being whisked out of line by what seemed like airport personnel or police. One man even refused to step over the line marking whether you're in or out because he seemed embarrassed by this special treatment....The rest of us waited patiently. Once we were through t ...
