Good Points: Staff where OK, the facilities at the airport are quite good, the quality of the food was fine! The transport at the airport was OK!

Bad Points: A bit old looking and checking in and security were quite slow!

General comments: Newcastle airport is an average UK airport. I flew on an easyjet from Bristol so I don't usually fly to or from Newcastle, other reviewers may be more familiar with the airport but for my one time experience it was not too bad. I think that I do recommend Newcastle airport, there is nothing bad about it, just there is nothing really good about it either!

It is quick to get through security at Newcastle Airport, the range of shops available at checking area is good. Very poor choice of food outlets after security. Food of poor quality, service extremely bad. Waited 30 minutes in Eagle Bar, was totally ignored so walked out. Many other diners had been waiting a long time for food, which look of poor presentation and quality. A generally a poor experience.

But it was like getting blood from a stone. When I eventually got a reply it was useless. The trouble with airports is that they breed a culture of "Jobsworths" who have no concept of "customer service". It woul ...
