Good Points: Very comfortable No hiss when there's complete silence or on low volumes No interruptions when moving, even between rooms
Bad Points: No deep bass Hiss factor comes into play on loud sounds, ie. the louder the sound, the louder the hiss
General comments: The Philips SBC-HC8350 are my first wireless headphones. Hence, I can't really compare them to anything else similar.
These headphones were tested against a new Toshiba 42WLT66 LCD TV, and again on a new Panasonic DMR-EZ45VEBS DVD recorder.
One thing I noticed straight away was the hissing on medium to high volume, and on increasing the volume at the source the hissing becomes less noticeable, but it's still is there.
Regarding the sound quality, this is good, but there is a lack of deep bass. One thing I was pleased about was there were no crackles or interruptions when moving, even moving to the next room still gave a clear sound.
Even though my wife says they are OK, I am uncomfortable with the hissing issue, and I want to try a different make; maybe Sennheiser 120.
I paid £50 for the headphones.
