Good Points: Clear sound, deep and strong bass, low distortion, comfort, very open sound stage.
Bad Points: Ear hook easy get broke, use contact sponge means had to prepare few to replace.
General comments: From my opinion, I think the Sony MDR-Q25LP are truly great ear pieces and real bargain for it's price.
I had compare it to my Grado sr80, it's so called True Hifi Earphone in human price(100USD), and find it have more open sound stage and lesser distortion drive by a portable cd player, if connect to a earphone amp Grado will go better on power and detail, but it's means you need 250+ dollar to hear better sound than a 20$ ear pieces, and please forget the audio-technica Clip-on fancy cans, it sounds lean dry and less in bass power.
