Good Points: Lightweight Flexible Good sound quality - strong bass, clear highs
Bad Points: Can be uncomfortable for extended periods Has a habit of one earphone dying after a couple of years
General comments: The MDR-G57G S2 headphones are a very solid product from Sony! They are robust (and very flexible), and they boast an impressive sound for the price, and also last for quite a while.
The sound quality is very good. It has full bass for all tunes, good clarity on the high frequencies, and it has a full mid-range.
Their build is very appealing! The plastic feels solid (not tacky), and the headband can flex a surprising amount. The earpads are quite comfortable, but they will wear out quickly as they are just foam.
It comes with a generous amount of cord; more than enough to loop around your shoulder and into a backpack etc.
Unfortunately, for extended periods of listening (~1> hours), the headphones can start to hurt behind yours ears (numbness) from your ears supporting the phones (although they are very lightweight).
I had my pair for about 2 and a half years before one of the earpieces stopped working, which is very impressive seeing as I used them on a daily basis.
I definitely recommend this product as one of the best 'street style' headphones.
