The Sennheiser PX 100 are good sounding headphones. They are also lightweight and of good build.

I have had a pair of PX100's for nearly 4 years now, and they are so good that I have taken to using 'em nearly all the time for my music listening.
No they aren't top notch hi-fi - for that you'd have to pay a lot more!
Friends with expensive setups have been amazed at the sound produced by these little gems.
Only now are the ear sponges on mine starting to show a little wear, so I was looking to replace these. At the current price of under £20 for the 'phones themselves, I think I'll bu ...

I have been using the PX 100 for 2 months already, and I am very pleased with the quality. It boosts up the listening pleasure of any kind of music or sound. I could compare this to the Sennheiser professional series headphones and although there is a difference, it's not as big as to justify the cost difference.

The Sennheiser PX100 are a decent mid-price pair of headphones. I have owned many other pairs, including the Sennheiser PXC250. The PX100 are comfortable and pack a good sound delivery, especially when it comes to bass. I believe they are better than the PXC250s sound-wise, even though their look is nothing special. They are an open build design, which means the sound quality is better, however at the same time it means they leak more sound, potentially annoying people that might be near you. Fo ...

I have purchased a few sets of headphones in the past spending as much as £50 on some, I never use the ones supplied with my ipods and I never got the true sound that I thought I should be getting.
I brought the Sennheiser PX 100's as I remember they had a good review in a mag I once read, they look plasticky and cheap but they certainly deliver the sound quality I have been after for so long, I kept switching from these and back to my old ones playing the same track, because I couldn't ...

I have been looking to upgrade my headphones, as I cannot stand the in the ear types. They are uncomfortable and sound terrible. I first went for a pair of Sony MDR-V300 which were excellent--until I went for a walk. They were too heavy, hot and creaked. They also had a cable that was 3m, and as thick as a power lead! I exchanged them for the Sennheiser PX100's and I have been very pleased.
They are light, sound fantastic, plenty of bass but never too much. They sound good at all levels, and ...

I bought the Sennheiser PX 100 headphones on the recommendation of 'Which?' magazine in the UK. A consumer magazine that evaluates many different products. Occasionally, they are wrong about some products.
I cannot recommend that anybody should buy these headphones.

Previously and currently. I am still using a Beyer dynamic DT231 Pro headphone (around $60). The Sennheiser PX100 is an absolute disappointment. The bass is good, but where is the treble? In fact, where did the entire mid-range go? I would not recommend this headphone to anyone, unless you are used to

Bought for use with with a Creative Zen MP3 player. For the money, the sound quality is excellent and the phones are comfortable to wear. If you want to listen to serious hi fi though, you'll need to look for something rather better - and more expensive. The phones fold reasonably flat into their case which is too big to carry in a pocket but would be fine in say, a brief case. The lead is 1.5 metres which is too short for indoor use and rather long for use on the move. Despite these gripes, for ...

The Sennheiser PX100 headphones have lived up to Sennheiser's quality name ,as I expected. They are smart and stylish, and produce perfect sound quality, much better than anything else in it's price range! Highly recommended for anyone with an iPod, high quality MP3 player, or CD Walkman etc...
They have given me many months of high quality use. Even though I am now looking for something better, these are a must have for anyone with £25 to spare. The PX200's are also a very similar ...

I have seen loads of people around with the Sennheiser PX100 headphones. I am very into music, and like it to sound good, and a big part of that is the headphones you use.
I have an iPod and a laptop, so they are ideal to use with both of them when I am out and about doing stuff.
I paid £34.99 for mine at Virgin. They are worth every penny!
Don't think about it, just get them!

I got these Sennheiser PX 100 headphones as I'm not a fan of in-ear 'buds' because they make my ears sore and I can never get them in far enough to get decent bass out of them. But I wanted something portable, so these fitted the bill. Imagine my surprise as they turned out to have fantastic sound quality too..!
I've not heard anything that compares with these phones at the same price. Very detailed and open sound, with a whomping bass that belies the phones' small size.
You may look cool ...
