    WestJet is slipping and is becoming just another Airline. On-time Performance is only at 67.1%. Wait time for the call-in center is over 60 minutes.

    Ticket pricing fluctuates on a weekly basis and there is often no motivation for purchasing a ticket well in advance, since seat sales are frequent (and still won't guarantee the best price). "X number of tickets left at current price" is made more confusing because a drop in pricing is as possible as an increase. It's a bit of a lottery, and that's not how I choose to fly. WestJet will probably be my last resort for future travel.

    from the time of checking in at 5.30 a.m. the smiles and the good humour just started our day and our trip to a great start..i have flown many airlines and i never had a such a great experience as with west jet

    On my WestJet flight I was on a 737-600. Extremely cramped seating. Sitting in window seat and crammed up against the wall, knees forced into the seat in front of me. Almost claustrophobic. Good thing it was only a 45 minute flight.

    We enjoyed flying with West Jet and will continue to do so. We found that from the moment we arrived at the airport, the staff were very friendly and informative. The flights went very smoothly and the staff on board were friendly, joked around with the passengers and it appeard they enjoyed their jobs.

    Initially chose Westjet over AC because of cost, Westjet always reasonably priced. Continue to choose Westjet because I've never had a bad flight with them. Good prices, great staff and customer service, dependable and reliable airline. I've never had my luggage lost. Can't go wrong with Westjet.

    This was a short haul flight (YLW - YVR - YLW). Seating is cramped. Strongly suggest using an aisle seat for a little more comfort. All in all good flight. I would likely not travel on WestJet on flights longer than 1 1/2 hours because of the seating.

    I fly often, I prefer to take WJ over AC because I know they will take care of me when they make a mistake. They make timely announcements when there are delays, cancellations. Once when my bag was delayed they gave me all the info needed including how to contact the airport directly and the agent's name. They also kept me updated regarding the status of my bag. In comparison my bag was delayed on AC and I couldn't contact the airline at all. When I asked the central office (who had no info) why ...

    Flew from Victoria to Toronto (June 2007) - 2 girls travelling alone, the staff were thoughtful enough to seat us together away from a large group who were also on the flight. Could not fault their customer services.

    Firstly I can't say my "Bad Points" aren't really all that bad, as I will explain.

    I have been a loyal Air Canada (AC) Customer for years now. And for as much as I hear complaints about AC, I hear great things about Westjet (WJ). So I decided to take a WJ flight to see what makes them so great.     I recommend WestJet for big groups. We had a flight back to Montreal from Vancouver and were stuck in unusual traffic on our way to the airport. As soon as we arrived, a little lady came to guide us and we went through check-in and security in a record time. All of our luggage made in to destination, we had great service before, during and after our flights. No complain. I would fly with them again without any second thought.

    I recommend WestJet to all age groups either travelling alone or with a group! I have never personally encountered any negative experiences with this company. (I travel with my young daughter regularly)

    I've flown WestJet a few times a year for the past few years, and have always been impressed with their service. Not once have I run into any problem- never any delays, problems with tickets or luggage, which I can't say for the other airlines I've taken.

    From the beginning of my interaction with WestJet associates to the very end I was made to feel welcome and valued! While my flight was not delayed, the one in the gate next to mine was and I was able to observe how this was handled by the staff. I loved the way that passengers were told more specifics of the delay than is customary, and it certainly engendered a dramatic reduction in the number of angry passengers.
