First time on Horizon and was impressed with the crew and the aircraft. Spacious seating on the Q400. Friendly attentive crew.

Nice airline. Helpful FA's. Great customer service, Served good food for a LAX-RNO flight. They offered bags of chips, peanuts, crackers, and a breakfast meal (eggs, sausage) with a drink (sprite, coke, fanta, more soft drinks, coffee, and tea). Overall 10/10.Will I fly with them again? Definitely. Was it worth my money? Definitely.Do I recommend you to fly it? Definitely.

On my flight to Los Angeles, before we left Seattle, the flight attendants cracked a great joke about blackberries during the safety demonstration. Theres no entertainment system on all of their aircraft apart from the Digeplayers on transcontinental flights but they are served from first class first and they may run out when your at the back of the plane which can be annoying. Alaska airlines is a great airline to fly on.

Alaska Airlines / Horizon Air never lost a bag, only few delays, but in this busy world, understandable. Can fall asleep fine and easy to boared/leave, easy to get around and customer service people decent for what can be expected. Bad point, a couple of delayed flights, but not by muck.

Does anyone who works for this airline even care about their customers. After all, we are the ones who pay their wages. The trip to Puerto Vallarta on Jan 15/08 was more than dissapointing. There were 3 couples traveling together on this trip. We flew from Victoria B.C. to Seattle with no problem arriving in Seattle at 7:00am. Our connection from Seattle to San Francisco was to leave at 8:30am. The departure time had been changed to 9:20am. We boarded the plane and listened to the pilot change t ...

During the recent grounding of Horizon planes, Horizon employees, under
great stress, did a great job. Most flew Alaska to get to their cancelled
Horizon connections in Seattle. Unfortunately, Alaska employees took a
"not my problem" approach and were generally rude. In my case, when Horizon ran out of the overnight kits (toothpaste, brush)I requested a kit from Alaska, but I was refused: 'It was Horizon's Problem'.
In my opinion Alaska seems to have forgotten consumers have choices. ...

Flight from Vancouver to Portland was great. Only snacks were offered but coffee was aplenty. For such a short flight, you don't expect a full meal service and the plane was tiny. From the aircraft, the flight attendant showed us Mount St Helens, which was a nice touch, especially since I'm not from the area! Will I fly Horizon Airlines again? Of course! I am already planning my multiple stop trip around the Pacific Northwest with them!

Alaska is the worst airline ever.
Instead of the food, which was supposed to be included due to the ticket, a piece of toast was offered for $5.
The same flexibility was experienced at the check-in desk. For only two kilos of overweight baggage I was charged $25.
Toilets were stinking in the cabin.
There was a shortage of blankets and pillows in the cabin. The pillows that were there were dirty.
The temperature in the cabin was varying over the flight, so much so that people were wearing j ...

I attempted to change my Alaska Airlines reservation within 24 hours of making it, 3 weeks from the departure date. Online, the price listed for a new reservation was $497.20 vs $719.20 for the prior reservation a $222 savings but they refused to honor the price difference (What do you think their policy would be if it was more expensive?) The several representatives and a manager that I spoke with informed me that "The computer system takes your money and we can't give it back no matter the pri ...

I have always been impressed with the hospitality of Alaska Airlines. The flight attendants are very friendly, and usually very helpful for getting pillow and blankets on night flights, or getting refills on drinks or snacks in a timely manner. I do not recall any Alaska Airlines flights being late, and I have flown on them for 15 years. I always get AAdvantage frequent flyer miles on their flights, and I think that is the best program out there.
