“Economy Comfort Seat - Would not Recommend”

I purchased a ticket for my wife and son. On top of that I paid $318 for Economy Comfort Seats. Imagine the price, but for a 16-hour flight, it makes sense. My wife and son just landed at their final destination. Immediately, she informed me not to buy Economy Comfort next time. For the price I paid, it is definitely not worth it. “Flight cancelled 30 min prior to boarding”

I checked my mom ( who doesnt speak English) for her international flight an hour prior to boarding. As I was leaving the airport (30 min prior to boarding time), I got a call from Delta that flight was cancelled. I had to drive back, park, get clearance, go through security to find my mom to tell her that. Then I had to find Delta rep, who said: here is 800 number you cn call. “Unhealthy and poor service flight”

Air conditioning was corrosive and smelt badly almost like stale cigarette smoke. Many passengers coughing badly by end of flight. Subsequent sore throat and chest infection to persons who were completely healthy before flight. “Like a bus”

Imagine a bad domestic flight - uncomfortable, bare minimum service, old plane. Now imagine doing it long haul - 14 hours. My family and I have been skymiles card holders for over 25 years. The way I’ve been treated over the past week is appalling, disturbing, and unethical. I will NEVER ship an order through Delta Cargo again. The Delta representative made a situation way harder than what it needed to be, causing my customer to wait hours to pick up a shipment. I went to book 9 tickets for a Orlando family vacation in December 2013- got the price - went to apply for credit card - only offered $2,000.00 - okay I can wait a few days for the credit card and use for some of the tickets- less than 10 days latter the cost of the flights almost doubled - my credit card came with a 5K limit - sent email to Delta - sorry they say nothing we can do - never again will I travel with them - 5 adults and 4 kids paying more for flights and need to have a lay over... I booked my flight though Delta but have learned to go to other sites first because they can come up cheaper on other sites, so do your homework! my only problem with Delta is that once you pay for a flight don't ask for a upgrade you will not get it! “absolute worst flight of my life”

“Purchasing tickets directly from Delta airlines. ”

Purchase your Tickets through any other online website you choose. Don't go to Delta's website. It is a long story. My transactions were not handled well. It took three days to get them straightened out. Besides, I found the tickets cheaper at Cheaptickets.com. Flying with Delta has always been as good as I expected. Just don't buy directly from them. flying home from minneapolis to heathrow on 28th dec sat on air craft for 2hrs then told to return to terminal waited 4hrs then boarded again at 0300 expecting to take off. sat on board for 2hrs 30m before take off.Told we would have to divert to new york to pick up a new pilot as the current one would be out of hours! Have flown Delta/Air France SAN to Ireland RT and San to Kauai rt within a year. They need to do much to get loyalty from us. “Grumpy flight attendants let down the otherwise fine...”

They required me to check my carry on while we were walking down the tunnel to the plane. My carry on was only large enough to carry my laptop to keep it safe. It would have easily fit under the seat in front of me or in the overhead. Instead they forced me to check it and they smashed it. Now they refuse to fix it because I don't have the original receipt. I fly a lot for my job. I always dread seeing they booked me with Delta. I understand about weather delays. And the occasional mechanical issues. My son flew TLV-AMS_JFK on Delta in October,2011. Upon arrival in AMS, he was informed that flight was connecting flight cancelled “due to sudden technical problems” – next flight was 24 hours later. Dutch airline regulator decreed that Delta had ‘ infringed the regulation by not compensating passenger ….EUR 300”. I am absolutely shocked and angry at the treatment of a couple with two babies who arrived at JFK from tel aviv and after going through customs and arrived right at the door of the aircraft, they shut the door in their face and left them stranded for 7 hours. We were traveling to Key West from Nashville. Delta said we had to stop in Miami because we couldn't land in Key West because of a problem with the plane aqnd they needed 10 percent more runway to land than Key West offered. Delta said they were going to have the plane checked out or move us to another plane. Delta then said they were having a bus to pick us up and drive us to Key West. This was to take 45 minutes...the bus never showed. Delta then run us around in the aiport for 2 moire hours to take to their rep who was never where they sent us. My girlfriend and I ended up hithching a ride to Key West with people we have never met before. It turned out ok but still a bit unnerving, we just didn't know what else to do. Delta would tell us nothing! We were suppose to land in Key West at 9oclock, finally made it at 330 am. I have contacted Delta telling them that I wanted the money back for that part of the trip. Their response is that they would give back $17.00 because they got us to Miami. I purchased a ticket to Key West not Miami! And there is no such thing as a $17.00 air fare to anywhere. This company is one big theif.

“Ticket Price Scam”

if you are booking a ticket on delta and using your frequent flyer number, beware. The local news station just did a report on delta charging $100 to $200 more for an economy ticket if you were logged in with your FF number versus not using a number. In one test they tested 5 flights and 3 of them were more if you were logged in with your FF number. Delta said it was a computer glitch, yea right! (read more)

I have flown many different airlines on long and short flights, many trans-Atlantic flights, and none of them (even the ones from "third world" countries) come even close to Delta is the lack of professionalism, service and customer care. We booked business class London-Miami and we also booked a car through the DELTA website. Delta subcontract the car to a company called ISEATZ who failed to supply the car and refuse to respond to emails or phone calls.Delta are not interested in this lack of performance. Crappy and disappointing customer experience with Delta. They don't explain the "expiration date" on Certificates and eCredits under your profile online and I've lost $1,000+ in unused ticket value. I had the worst experience of my life. Worst airline. Never fly delta. Worst customer service. We booked round trip flight from Austin to baltimore and made online payment. My flight started on 22 January with a visit to the CIU (Delta operated airport) where I found a typed out note pasted on the glass door. “Your flight has been canceled due to weather conditions,” and a phone number to call. The flight was delayed by 2 hours. My daughter failed to get her preordered vegetarian meal despite it being on our confirmation of booking they denied receiving it and she had no food for 10 hours. The plane was dirty the staff were extremly rude, my monitor did not work and although we upgraded to economy comfort we got no complimentary drinks as the staff were too busy to get them.
