“Delta treats fliers like dirt”

A flight from Miami to Albuquerque was hell. First they charge for first bag. Airport delay, OK I understand weather. Stop over in Atlanta, Ok but for 3 hours? Then, plane and gate change with delay. Finally get to Albuquerque and the inexperienced gate person couldn't get the gate to the plane. Then at baggage, they told us that they had to load a plane before they could unload our plane. This was a 45 minute delay because they only had 2 people working baggage. I will never fly Delta again… Read Full Review

“On time ahead of time, for Heathrow-Atlanta-Heathrow...”

We were impressed with Delta Airlines international service, our first time flying this airline, probably because we flying to Atlanta rather than to other East Coast locations in the USA. We purchased our tickets online, no hassles with payment, or booking the seats we wanted AND these didn't get changed. We've had that happen with some other airlines where they change the seats about a week before, and no hassles with electronic boarding passes either. “Our Choice of Airline”

Having flown several carriers, my wife and I prefer Delta flights whenever possible. I am amazed at the poor reviews that some leave; have they tried flying UA for instance? Delta has always been efficient, friendly and on time. Our son, a novice traveler, missed his return flight home. In spite of an incredibly busy morning, the gate attendant had him rebooked within 15 minutes and, unlike other airlines we have flown, did not charge him a cent for the rebooking. “Dumped in another city - no help to get where I needed...”

Had to find my own "bus" to get where I needed after my first flight was delayed, I missed my next flight and they didn't even offer me a meal or help to get to where I was going! The girl at the counter laughed at me, turned her back and refused to help! She told her coworker that maybe she would have me bumped from my next flight, too! Had an e voucher my wife got in Rome last year. She took our 3 adult kids. They were ask to give up their seats and put them up in a hotel. For that they received a $400 e-voucher. “Couldn't Give Away Flights that I no longer needed...”

Booked a trip for two to Italy through Costco Travel five months before I planned to go flying on Delta Airline. I wasn't real happy with the return flight which was LAX, Salt Lake and Ontario, CA. But figured I could live with it. I decided about a week before to not take the final two legs of the flight and remain at LAX and get a car and drive to Ontario saving time in the air and on the ground. “Worst in Industry”

Delta for some reason always has excuses for anything and everything when it comes to customer service... As a business traveler who flys over a hundred segments and until recently do to change in travel destinations was informed to fly Delta.. What a mistake if there is an issue, constantly blaming or even trying to resolve any conflict ... “Hilarios reasons and fasle promises by Delta”

The flight DL 050 was delyaed at Atlanta by almost 5 hrs. The reason given by the officials was 'Pilot not available'. What a reason for an international flight, operated by Delta. After reaching Amsterdam, to my surprise though mine was direct flight to Mumbai, I was re-booked on EK 150 to Dubai and then 9W 541 to Mumbai. “Show a little compassion ”

My wife and I had scheduled a flight from Birmingham AL. to State College PA. to attend my mothers funeral. The flight was scheduled to leave Birmingham at around 10:15 on the morning of 1/29/14. Unfortunately Birmingham was hit with a terrible snow storm the morning of 1/28/14. The storm left the entire Birmingham area gridlocked with hundreds of cars abandoned. The below is what I wrote to Delta while waiting for the flight they rescheduled me on after making me lose the first one. Their response? A $25 voucher to use Delta again, something I absolutely will never be doing! “Cancellations, Broken lugguage, Horrible customer...”

They never compensated us fairly for our cancellation and lost hotel room, travel expenses, and other costs of planning a trip. Broke my suitcase handle and said it was not covered to be compensated so had to go to the store and purchase a new one. I upgraded my seats to comfort seating for an extra $19.00 per seat and was never refunded that money nor made an attempt to get us the comfort seating that I had paid for in advance. so if your flight is cancelled with Delta don't expect any… Read Full Review

“Amazing Flight Attendant ”

“LIES LIES AND MORE LIES”

I missed my connecting flight due to a mechanical issue and was given the complete run around. I was told by 4 different ticket agents (2 at the original airport and 2 at the connecting airport) that since it is a mechanical issue, I’d be given a hotel voucher and would be on the first available plane the following morning.
