Having searched for flights between Manchester and Kuala Lumpur, Turkish Airlines proved highly competitive so we decided to give them a try. All four flights where on time and the aircraft's clean and presentable. The female flight attends and staff in Istanbul particularly however where brisk and unfriendly bordering on being rude. Whilst they big deal of the meal service by dressing up as chefs and delivering menu's in reality once the attendants reached our seats there was only one meal available and not the selection of drinks advertised. They did attempt to please though and one particular steward even went to the trouble of fetching lemonade from first class for us. Good value when consider the cheap ticket cost however Turkish Airlines cannot be compared with the likes of Malaysian Airlines and KLM who's service is always perfect. I notice incidental that there ticket prices have risen sharply this year, so it doesn't look like we will be flying with them again.

As there is no free lunch in the world, one can easily assume that if anything costs cheaper than expected, there's sure to be a problem with it. Turkish has been offering cheaper fares on many routes world wide but after taking two of their flights to/fro Dubai, I have had enough and I would like to get paid for taking one of their flights again. That's all I can say while keeping a stiff upper lip.

I was impressed at the low cost of extra luggage they had for the longest time. I love their blanket and overnight bag that they hand out to all long-haul passengers. I haven't had any problems with them but their service is a bit spotty when it comes to on time service.

The flight to me is okay most especially from lagos,Nigeria to Istanbul.The plane was big and very clean.It was okay.

I was very apprehensive when I booked my tickets with turkish Airlines on a long haul flight. I find it difficult to sleep on a flight therefore for me a good on -flight entertainment system is a must. I was aware that only few flights have personal video systems in place and I found none on the journey I took. Apart from that everything else was absolutely fine. Baggage arrived in time, slight delays on arrival and departures but that can be due to various other reasons. Overall a good experience and wont hesitate even for a second to book my flights again with turkish airlines provided the price is right.
