    Good Points: Food is excellent. Staff are all friendly and very helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day.


    General comments: We have just got back from 2 weeks in the Karbelsun hotel. Everything was excellent. The service, the food, the staff, all were helpful and charming. The manager couldn't do enough to help us. If we had a problem it was sorted out immediatly. The restuarant manager was great, all the staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us.....and the pool bar staff were so funny. Always there, liked have a laugh and joke with us. The Hotel was clean, gardens were well looked after, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for anyone. There was a small library of books by the reception so we were never short of a book to read, also a very good selection.
    Olu Deniz is a lovely resort, plenty to do, lots of restuarants and bars, plenty of shops and a trip too. Fethye market is a must...

    We have already booked for next year, can't wait...

    Friendly staff will do all they can to see you have a good holiday hotel lovely and clean gardens are well keept lots of sun beds round pool staff at pool bar always ready to have a joke with you been to this hotel 2 years running cant wait to go back next year reception staff always helpful if you need anything

    Just got back from a 2 week stay at the Karbel Sun and am very disappointed. First let me say that Olu Deniz is beautiful, and the majority of people you meet are absolutely lovely, it's just a shame that some of the hotel staff in my opinion did not reflect this!
    There were 8 of us staying in total, and every one of us found some of the staff to be extremely unprofessional.
    Rooms are basic, and I think they need cleaning more often. Being on the ground floor we found that there could be some of ...

    This hotel is just perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will certainly be coming back. The staff did everything to make your holiday memorable, (even if I did fall on my butt trying to push the bar man in the pool)
    They are so friendly and good fun. We only got back today and I got on the net straight away to recommend it. I am glad I did my homework and researched this place, the reviews were great so I am just passing on the thanks and hope it helps you make a good holiday choice. ...

    The hotel is excellent value for money and a great location, the whole resort is well laid out with everything close to hand. The staff at the restaurants and shops are all very helpful and will do everything they can to assist a customer which greatly benefits the elderly, those with children or anyone with mobility problems.     We had a very relaxing holiday at the Karbel Sun Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Olu Deniz has some nice places to eat and drink: Captain Hook was the best, but the hotel was a very close second. We hope to return next year.

    We've just come back from a one week holiday in Olu Deniz and have felt compelled to comment on the Karbel Sun Hotel where we stayed. Not to be confused with the adjacent Karbel Hotel (families) or Karbel Beach (singles) this hotel caters for couples wanting to enjoy the beautiful Turkish coast without the throbbing music and cheap tackiness often associated with an English orientated resort.

    All the staff at the Karbel Sun Hotel in Olu Deniz, Turkey were very friendly. The food in the pool area was really good. Although we did explore other restaurants in the evening, the food offered at the Karbel Sun was excellent. Our last meal was a Sunday roast, which included a Fire Dance. The roast dinner was exceptionally good. How does he cook his beef? It was melt in the mouth!! The rooms were cleaned every day, and we were satisfied with the cleanliness.

    I have been going to the Karbel Sun Hotel in Turkey for 8 years with my family. The manager is one of the most pleasant men you will meet. He can't do enough for you. Unfortunately, the owners son thinks he is a bit above the rest of us because his daddy owns the hotel. He stands at the reception overlooking the bar area watching you with contempt, and he does not speak to the customers, although his English is very good.

    Karbel Sun was excellent value, hotel meals were fantastic and great value, especially the fish. It was always very tidy, and rooms were cleaned everyday, and left with clean towels every other day. The staff were very entertaining, especially Mehmet, all very kind, inviting people, nothing was to much trouble. The only unfriendly member of staff, was the manager :(.     I have visited the Karbel Sun Hotel on numerous occaision and loved the place and poeple so much I have now bought a property there, Ali lets me and my family make use of the hotel facilities and are as friendly now as the day I first came to Turkey. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, if you need anything they will help with translations. The best place.

    Olu Deniz is like paradise. hotel, gardens and pool area always clean and inviting. all rooms have air con which is badly needed. Staff were so friendly and helpfull especially the bar staff. Food in the hotel was lovely but you get a Turkish breakfast (bread, cheese, tomato etc). too many choices of places to eat in the main street but you definately have to try Pepinos and Antiques.     The Karbel Sun Hotel in Olu Deniz gives no impression of the real Turkey. Prices are far higher here, the food is mainly British, the waiters and bar staff are not nearly as friendly and accomodating as in other parts of Turkey. The hotel is very basic, with uncomfortable bedding, lots of mosquitos, poor bar food and a very rude and unhelpful night porter. I would say avoid the hotel and the resort unless you want Britain abroad.

    The Karbel Sun Hotel just gets better every year. Most of the rooms have been upgraded with double glazing (only 1 mozzie bite this year)3 midgie bites since I've come home! New decor and bathrooms, with hairdryers, Telly and fridge in room. But the best thing about htis hotel are the people.

    Olu Deniz, Karbel Sun Hotel - I've just returned from my first trip to Olu Deniz. Absolutely fantastic! A week wasn't enough and we're hoping to return later this season. There is so much to see and do in the area (I thoroughly recommend the jeep safaris). Pack your beach shoes because the beach is pebbley - getting in and out of the sea can be a bit of performance!     The Karbel Sun is the place to stay if you want a relaxing holiday, Great Location, Beautiful pool, grounds and spotlessly clean rooms, fantastic pool bar where Hakki will make you more than welcome. It's a holiday you will want to have over and over again. We holiday abroad several times a year; we've even tried different places in Turkey BUT nowhere beats this place
