Good Points: There are no good points to this machine. It has never worked!
Bad Points: The machine has never worked in the six months I've owned it.
General comments: I purchased an Alienware Aurora Extreme laptop in June 2005. It is now January 2006, and it has never worked. I've jumped through their hoops. Their tech support sucks. Their machine sucks. I've had computers since 1983, literally hundreds in my business, and I have never dealt with a firm such as this. They run from their products!!!

I ordered the Alienware Aurora Extreme due to it getting good reviews in a magazine I read. My advice to you (based on my own experience) is not to buy one!
They take a HUGE amount of time to build and deliver the system. The system I received broke on the first day and they took three weeks to fix and return it. It is very difficult to get hold of anyone at Alienware, and once you do get hold of them, no one there cares about you or the problems you are having with their products.
Stay away! ...- Read Rasher001's review (142 words)

I could hardly contain myself, With pride I informed my friends and family of the impending arrival. My fellow gamers were green with envy and several had resolved to get their own. Unfortunately my joy was short lived, when the machine arrived it was scratched, software and screws were missing. I was disappointed after all this was supposed to be the cream of the c ...- Read angbooomer's review (239 words)

Just bought my Alienware Aurora Extreme. As you can imagine I'm more than a little excited. It looks extreme and it is extreme. The only major downer is that I couldn't get a screen in the alien green, mines black but as a package it still beats beige or grey handsdown. Mine came with 80GB so I've got my work cut out to fill it up, but I shall try my best. Haven't tried it for gaming yet but will let you know how I get on. My advice though is buy one and see for yourself, you won't be disa ...- Read cowcalves's review (106 words and 1 comment)
