“Poor voicemail notification service”

Just cannot have confidence in BT's e-mail notification of voicemails! The system can go three days or more before it sends an e-mail to advise that I have voicemails that I need to access! I use an iPhone 5s and I feel let down by BT when I get phone-calls from family, friends or colleagues checking if I have received a voicemail they left on the system two or three days earlier. “BT mobile coverage Isn't what they promise”

Took out a sim only deal with BT as it wasn't a great price. Also BT told me that the area I live in had excellent indoor 4g coverage, that good in fact that I would even be able to get super fast 4g. So sim was inserted into phone and nothing, no super fast 4g, no 4g, not even 3g.... “2gb sim overcharged”

Sold a 2gb family sim at £8 per month. checked recent usage and BT added an extra £19.48 after 2 weeeks saying I went over my 2gb. Checked BT app and online BT account usage and both say I've only used 1.9gb. Switched off all data and spoke to 6 different people at BT and they tell me the charge is correct. . “Unwanted "free" simcard”

“Amazon vouchers ”

“customer clueless bt mobile, just let EE do it. ”

Why don't BT just direct you straight to EE when there's an issue or even remove the mobile brand altogether and leave it to EE. Every time I have called about an issue, usually because our local transmitter has gone down and no mobile coverage. The current down time is 3 days and counting. On spending an age on the 150 number trying to get through you get a grilled about your account number, then explain the problem. “No signal at home. REALLY handy *sarcasm*”

I've just been issued with a works phone on BT mobile network. The only signal I can get at home is if I stand at the very bottom of my garden and that's minimum & sporadic. Inside the house, nowt. Phone becomes a pretty technical plastic brick. Thankfully a few months ago when I was looking to change personal networks I did contact BT asking if they did a pay as you go sim to be able to test the signal at home. Don't have a problem with my signal, but I do have a problem with customer support, technical support and their offers team. Moved one mobile phone from O2 to BT on a deal that gave me a £30 iTunes card. 4 months and many calls later still don't have an iTunes card. Moved another phone over, needed a new sim a few weeks later and have waited over 7 days for sim to be activated. “Unlimited texts on b.t mobile”

I signed up to b.t mobile as i have broadband with them for £10 per month for 6 months then £20 per month thereafter.It included unlimited texts.After sending several texts with smiley faces i checked my b.t account and discovered i was being charged 40p each for them.On querying this i was told that they were classed as mms messages which were not included .Only normal sms texts were not charged for.So beware you will not have a smiley face!… Read Full Review

Problem with modern day smartphones is the turn every symbol into a picture therefore making it a MMS. I think you need to learn how to use your handset. The responsibility is to the person sending not the operator

I got bt mobile to build my credit rating the order was messed up 3 times each time a new credit check had to be done. Eventually got the phone after being told I already had 2 handsets which I didnt. They have messed up with my billing. I have ended up with bank charges because they have tried to take money they shouldnt have. “Take care of data when starting to use BT mobile”

Being already on BT Broadband, the rates for BT Mobile were reasonable, especially for the phone I wanted to use. However, I discovered an issue of which that others should beware. When I inserted the SIM, the phone automatically used 4G to download my purchased software from Google playstore. The data download far exceeding the allowance for the tariff I had chosen, so I had to pay extra. This enforces the point of people paying attention when setting up their phones rather than getting carried away in the excitement of their new handset. Tethering is now available with bt so this should help you out a bit

Moved from EE about 3 months when I changed phones. Huge mistake. Call quality is just awful. Called BT support and 2 out of the local 3 masts - the 2G and 3G ones are down for maintenance. If I can't connect to the 4G mast then its nada. Today I just realized they don't have any roaming packs! To be honest I just assumed as a major provider that they were available. Bt use the same masts as EE so wouldn't have helped you. Also i believe roaming add ons are available

“Avoid at all cost!”

I recently switched from EE to BT as the deal was the same but half the price, it is the biggest mistake I could have made! The signal continuously drops off, no matter if I'm at home or at work. For some reason all my data allowance was used up within two weeks, this never happened with EE ( part of the reason for switching was that I was paying £10 pm and still had data and text left over ). “Mobile calls to 0870 numbers”

Be very careful when calling 0870 numbers on BT mobile. BT charge an astonishing 30p/min access charge on top of the charge made by the reciever of the call. I recently paid 43p/min to a UK destination on a mobile! Rated as poor because of the excessive charges… Read Full Review

Nothing bad to say about BT whatsoever. Ordered the £13 a month package 500 mins, unlimited texts and 2g data. Qualified for £5 month discount because I have BT broadband so it works out at £8 month. Sim came next day with text updates. I was on Giffgaff which constantly dropped signal, the '4g' was excruciatingly slow and call quality terrible.
