Good Points: Location, close to beach, quiet so could always get a good nights sleep.

Bad Points: FOOD FOOD FOOD...Still cant make it out, huge lack of staff as well as food, when you manage to get the meat part of your dinner your then have to wait for the rest of it, filthy plates and because of the lack of food you don't know when there's going to be more or if so this makes people greedy. The main lounge area where you get your drinks at night is kept in darkness the barman yes there is only one, is miserable I asked for a coffee and was given it in a plastic glass. If you ask for ice in your drink the woman who serves you in the day looks at you like you have two heads.

General comments: Sa Coma is very nice, just a shame about the hotel Club Gran Playa, was probably lovely in the sixties. I brought a bottle of bleach while I was there and cleaned my own room our sheets weren't changed in ten days and when we saw a trolley of towels we got clean ones. The plastic glasses around the pool were collected in black bags or the rubbish bin really. Glasses were another thing that they run out of. You have to laugh about it and we did have a good holiday, but I would never ever return.

Something for everyone to eat. Reception staff helpful. But as this was our main holiday we were very disappointed with the hotel.

Overall very good holiday did not book through travel company as you are paying 3-4 hundred pounds extra for them to tell you what to do and what not to do. Would recommend hotel to anyone 45 years onwards or couples. Weather fantastic but too hot until late. Dates 14th - 21st July 2008

Although choice of hot food was limited we enjoyed 3 meals a day going back for more each time. The holiday was very relaxing and we had a lot of laughs. I do not think we could have gone away in England for this amount of money, eat and drink as much as we wanted and come home with a tan.

The area around hotel looked tired and untidy. The hotel desperately needed revamping and the attitude of the staff reflected the ambiance of the hotel. With a more dynamic approach this hotel could turn itself around but the general spirit was lacking. This hotel should close during winter/spring months it is not designed to cater for clients during this period and certainly should not advertise as such. Families we met were generally very unhappy and disappointed with their time there.

Overall, the Club Gran Playa Hotel in Majorca was brilliant. It did get a bit boring in the second week, but we hired a car to get out. The picnics provided if you were going out were very limited. It would be easier to go to the supermarket and get your own. The rush for the sunbeds when the doors opened at 8am was hysterical. We thought it amusing, but some people got annoyed. If you want entertainment, this is not the hotel to go to. The staff were brilliant, and they could all speak some Eng ...

Overall Club Gran Playa is was a very good holiday for a family of two adults and two children aged 5 and 9. It was terrific value for money, as we were on an all inclusive package. The hotel is situated slightly away from the beach, a five minute walk at the most, but all the rooms actually face towards the sea, so there are no bad visibility rooms, and they all overlook the hotel pool. The town of Sa Coma is a quite nice little place with just enough British bars without going overboard. ...

Before going to Club Gran Playa I had read some awful things about this hotel, but it was great. Spotlessly clean rooms cleaned 5 out of 7 days, towels changed 5/7 days. Staff very friendly and helpful People have said about it being untidy by the pool but that is due to the guests not the staff, they are always cleaning and emptying bins. The food isn't anything to write home about but no-one went hungry and it is available all day until 12am. All in all for the money paid it was probably the b ...

The Club Gran Playa hotel itself was better than I was expecting. Around the pool was slightly untidy, but this was due to people leaving plates and cups lying around the pool. The only problems were that the staff on reception were very rude to us, bar staff not much better, and the food wasn't too good. Nice resort with lots of restaurants and English run pubs.

Club Gran Playa was spotlessly clean; the cleaners were in 5 days out of 7. The pools were lovely and clean when we were there and the sun beds plentiful. The food was great with a huge selection, at all times, to choose from. Loads of fruits too to grab on your way out. And the resort itself was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The only fault I could find with this hotel is the entertainment manager just couldn't be bothered the second week as he was due to go home ...

Club Gran Playa is a good hotel with good size rooms that are kept clean with a good maid service daily. The hotel is in a good area not to noisy but a short walk to the shops and the beach and bars. The food is good a good choice and plenty the kids ate well. The bar is well stocked and good service. Not very good entertainment at night in the hotel for all parties but a short walk sorted that problem out with some of the bars having play areas, other wise a very good holiday and will be coming ...

Club Gran Playa is an excellent place for families, went with my partner and two children, there was great entertainment and facilities for children. The swimming pool was very decent size and hotel was clean and tidy, staff friendly and helpful. Very close to a supermarket, beach and few minutes from the resort centre.

I have got to say this is the worst holiday me and my family have ever taken. Their was 18 in our party and all of us at some point in our holiday came down with serious sickness, diarrhoea and stomach cramps, this along with 12 of us catching impetigo was just half of the problems faces by us at this hotel. The pool was never cleaned in the 2 weeks that we was there, there was litter (plastic cups, plates, forks, ice cream cartons) everywhere and the staff's attempt at cleaning was brushing it ...
