    Good Points: Good food, great spa, beautiful beach excellent diving/snorkelling


    General comments: We stayed at the Taj Coral Reef for our honeymoon and it was great. A very small tranquil island. My husband and I enjoy diving, there is a dive centre on the island and they will give lessons to beginners and boat trips for more experienced. The island has it's own wreck which is very popular. We had a fantastic holiday, the food was excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the spa and fully recommend the 5-day package. We stayed in a beach bungalow which meant we had our own section of beach with 2 sun loungers and a large hammock secured to 2 palm trees. We very nearly booked a water villa but I think we made the right choice! I would love to go again.

    We stayed at the Taj Coral Reef for 10 nights on an all inclusive basis in a water villa in Sept 03.

    After much scouring of the internet for the ideal island we got in touch with Best At Travel who recommended this little gem as we had wanted to stay on a small island in a water villa and as we had been told it was very very expensive in the Maldives we opted for the all inclusive option and paid the extra supplement.

    We spent a fortnight at Taj Coral and cannot recommend the holiday enough. The Service was second to none - the bar staff seeking us out on the beach, to provide us with drinks throughout the day and plates of fruit!
    The food was of very high quality and we did not find it repetitive - it does help if you love curry, as there was always curry options every night. The hotel had planned themed nights for the restaurant - e.g. Latin American, Italian etc. Staff had to dress up accordingly, differe ...

    We stayed at the Taj Coral Reef for 2 weeks and were by no means disappointed.
    The island is beautiful and very tranquil.
    We had a lagoon villa and spent all day in there. Infact we did not go to the beach at all! We snorkelled off of our deck and sunbathed there. The only time we left the room was to eat and drink!
