    Good Points: 1, The sun shines all day;
    2, your washing dries in a couple of hours(if it's not stolen before hand!);
    3, Detached accommodation.

    Bad Points: 1, Pool filthy and resulting in ear infections and rashes and several cuts on the feet - from broken tiles;
    2, Ants everywhere - be prepared to buy lots of Ant Killing Spray;
    3, Little or no Maid-Service;
    4, Kiddies Club a joke;
    5, Any trips that are bookable, you must get yourself there;
    6, No Aqua Park worth the hassle of travelling to

    General comments: On arrival at the Sol Del Sur Apartments (2 adults + 6 kids) we thought it all looked pretty ok. We did think that the Reception was pretty small but got our key and went to our apartment. This is where the fun starts: it was old, dark, smelly and in bad need of a clean. Although we'd been told by people staying there that it had been cleaned that morning. Ha, don't think so. Anyway kids settled in and got their togs on and jumped into the pool. That evening we walked around the beautiful Marina and the wonderful restaurants, and numerous bars etc. We loved it and were amazed at how beautiful it was. Next day we woke to a disaster. I say that only because, we have been to Portugal on holiday for the last seven years and this has never happened. Our clothes were robbed. Well I thought how badly off is a person that they have to rob children's swimming shorts from a clothes horse. And I still haven't come to an answer. Anyway, things went on and I suppose we knew this was it, out worst holiday ever. By the end of week one all we wanted to do was go home. Shopping for your ordinary day to day things i.e. bread, milk etc. was twice the price of home (Ireland). We had to include on our shopping list, Ant Spray, toilet roll, and bleach. There was nothing to do around the pool for the kids only play pool if the pool table was working. So our children ended up going up the road to a beautiful complex called Sol Falco. So I would end this review by saying DO NOT book Sol Del Sur or as we call it "Sol Del SuIr". BE WARNED, DO NOT GO HERE...
