    Been going here for 10 years, in the past have occasionally been to the odd one or 2 cheaper salons when been short of money but never come out as satisfied. colours they use are very good and always been spot on. well worth paying a bit more for the staffs expertise and quality of colours used etc. John English Hairdressing make you feel right at home. brill.

    I would have no hesitation in recommending John English in Tontine Street to anyone. Having gone to the same hairdressers for years and fed up of a 90 miles round trip, I looked which for a new a hairdressers nearer to home. John English seemed to be the one. I went with trepidation as I didn't want my hair to look like a dogs breakfast. I needn't have worried. My hair was cut and coloured beautifully. They use Colourstart colours and you have to use a skin patch test 48 hours before they colour ...

    I am a professional hairdresser by trade but had to finish due to health reasons so i can obviously tell when i go to a good hairdressers or a bad one! Some staff at other John English salons have seemed inconsiderate towards me when I went to have my hair done in the past.

    Always go to John English in Longton. Paula and all the girls pleasant and professional, excellent hairdressing. Love it!

    I visited the John English in cheadle, and found my overall expeirence was very plesant and enjoyable. The staff were very professional, courtious and friendly. They explained every thing that they were doing and going to do, i would definetly recommend anyone in need of good hairdresser.

    John English restored my hair after a 'local' salon had over-layered, highlighted and razored my hair, which did not suit my hair type, leaving it frizzy and this took over 3 hours! John English in Hanley use professional colours with no bleach and cut my hair to suit me in 1 hr 10mins. I am willing to pay that little bit more money on quality now!

    Brilliant Staff to talk to and brilliant hair colours for your money. Nice cuts and blow drys. I advise anybody to go there.

    The staff at the salon are very helpful and make you feel very at ease. Products used on your hair are of excellent quality and most of them relativly inexpensive to buy to take home. If you are going in for a new style you should be pleased as stylists seems to really know what will suit your face and hair type.
    Parking can be a pain as it is in the centre of town and some distance from the nearest car park-but bus station is close. You can some times be in the salon rather a long time as they ...

    I always go John English Tontine Street Hanley, there is no better salon in Staffordshire. They cut and colour my hair and it is fantastic, it always looks trendy and hip. All the girls are all fab in there and management is brilliant, even more so now.

    My mum went to have her hair done at John English Hair Salon in Longton, I have never seen a worse hair cut, it was visibly longer on one side of her head! Awful would never go again!!!

    I love John English hairdressing, I have always been so fussy with my hair and always been afraid to have different things done to it...but not there!
    I went in the other week and decided I wanted loads chopped off and to go darker and Jane did just that,she advised me every step of the way,and everyone keeps commenting on how nice it is, even my sons headteacher!!

    Every time I have my hair done at John English Hairdressing in Stoke-on-Trent, I walk out happy. When I wanted to go a lot more blonder last summer, they did just that and I was happy with the colour. About a month ago I became a brunette and wanted a new hair style so I went back to John English and had my hair cut and I adore it. Thanks Jenna you did a great job.
