I have been going to Hair Cuttery for 3 years for cuts and color, never had a problem. I decided to get my hair straightened and now my hair is completely fired, lookes and feels like someone took a match and lite it on fire, seriously. I found out that the straighter that was used was the wrong one, it was way too strong for my hair type and it was kept on too long. I know have to undergo 3 months (or more) of special hair conditioning treatments twice a week.

THEY HIRE RIGHT OUT OF SCHOOL, AND SEND THEIR EMPLOYEES TO A BRAIN WASH CLASS TO MAKE THEM LIKE LITTLE SALESMEN, SELL RETAIL SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROAT. WHEN THEY DO GET A GOOD EXPERIENCED HAIRDRESSER, THEY TREAT THEM LIKE GARBAGE HAVING THEM DO EVERYONES LAUNDRY SWEEP MOP ANSWER PHONES, BECAUSE THE OWNER IS TOO CHEAP TO PAY FOR RECEPTIONIST OR CLEANING CREW. EVENTUALLY THE TALENTED HAIR DRESSERS TELL THEM THEY ARE QUITTING, LEAVING THE SO CALLED MASTER STYLIST WHICH CHARGE MORE BECAUSE THEY TOOK ...

Hair Cuttery is AWESOME! They asked what I wanted, took the time to listen to me, and gave me exactly what I asked for! Two thumbs up from me, the salon was upbeat, clean, and busy, apparantly everyone else loves it too! :)

I have yet to get a haircut that I ask for at any Hair Cuttery Salon, and neither has my husband. The last haircut that I got, I asked her to trim approximately 1 1/2 to 2 inches off of the back, feather the front back and angle the sides into the back. Fairly straightforward request, right? Well, she cut about 5 to 6 inches off the back on the first cut and by then it was too late to stop her, she hacked the front and top so short that it sticks straight out and cut the sides so short that I ap ...

My recent hair cut experience with hair cuttery was horrible. Although I came to add trendy bangs to my long hair, I was placed with an stylist who did not ask what I wanted before starting to cut.
Realizing I did not trust him, I suggested a trim. My hair is healthy, and a trim is not even why I came to the store. He cut about 3 inches more than was necessary.
I left with an earful of shampoo and a wet head, as the blow dry is not apparantly always given.

I will most definitely not be retur ...

A real chop job! - Today at Hair Cuttery -
It was such a bad time. The person (not a pro) did not totally understand and used a #2 clipper instead of a #9 as I asked and started trimming my locks. She just ripped into my hair like a lawn mower. "What are you doing", I said screaming!!!! "Now it will take 3 months for it to grow out". When you tell an operator just to make it shorter than it is, how could they possibly decide to give a army cut!. I guess you get what you pay for. Besides she want ...

I visited Hair Cuttery instead of visiting a high-end salon. I was very glad I tried this one, they did my hair and it came out exactly how I wanted it to look! I was in need of a haircut and kept putting it off cos of money issues but the price was very good in my books- I thought $31 was amazing, which included shampoo, cut and blow-dry...I had long hair so they add $10 because of that otherwise if your hair isn't that long it's $21 for shampoo/cut and blow-dry. The blow-dry was great at the e ...

Hair Cuttery in Philly, Adams Avenue. I went there trying to save money due to this bad economy... BAD MISTAKE! After shampooing my hair, I was quoted a price for a hair cut. After my hair was cut and the Stylist started blow drying my hair, she stopped and told me that it would be more money ($15 more) because my hair texture was difficult to blow dry straight. Not to mention, she was rushing to get off of work so my layers look completely butchered.

Stay away from Hair Cuttery, in this time of recession, businesses need to build up a loyal base,,. count me out.BTW I spent about 180$ plus tip @ 6-8 weeks at my usual salon, That's a bargain compared to what I received today at your fine franchise.

I live in Orlando, Florida and am very dissapointed in Hair Cuttery. I am a male with short hair that only requiers a buzz cut with a slight fade on the sides. My girlfriend who had never cut hair once did it in an emegency and did a better job than all of the stylist i have encounted at HC. My stylist this time had to ask another co-worker for help cutting my hair ON A BUZZ CUT. I am very dissapointed in my service and will not be returning. I have been let down for the last time.

Went to a dozen HCs in northern VA after moving to the area. Never have I received such absolutely horrific hair cuts. Not exactly sure how it is even possible to botch cutting my hair (basic men's cut), but HC some how managed time after time.

After a dozen plus visits to different locations, I received about two cuts that were 'OK', the rest were very disappointing.

First Experience: Nice, enjoyable and welcoming! I loved that girl, I definitely want to go back to her. The cut was great, she cut exactly like i showed her in the picture. Showed me tips and tricks on styling and etc. I loved it!Second Experience: I went to get my bangs done; I told the lady who took me specifically how i wanted my bangs and when she kept cutting shorter I told her to stop she suggested to not and kept cutting. So I don't know what I should do, go to hair cuttery again? ...

I went to the Hair Cuttery on Clybourn st. in Chicago with my brother. No one greeted us when we walked in. A stylist called me and I showed her the hairstyle I wanted. She said that my hair was too thick and wavy and it could not be done, so she said she would do layers instead. While she was cutting my hair she said that next time I should look at magazines where girls have thick wavy hair so that I'd know what hairstyle is suitable for me. Anyhow, I sat in the chair for less than 15 min.. an ...

I went to the Gaithersburg Hair Cuttery (7/15/08) and had a slightly layered cut. It turned out great and the hairdresser blowdried it straight (the last two times I have been to the hair cuttery in Frederick they never can blow dry it straight and have to end up using the hot iron). All in all it turned out great for the price. It seems like Hair Cuttery can be hit or miss but this was a hit.

This is at the Cockeysville hair cuttery. 1st - when I came in there was no one at the desk or anyone who said hello for about 5 minutes. Then - I'm telling the stylist that when she cuts my hair to please part it on the side as that's the only way I wear it. Two minutes later she looks up and says "Should I part it in the middle when I cut it?" I should have left then... so THEN like a lamb to the slaughter - I go to get my brows done. I tell her to just clean them up a little, leave them ...
