Having lived and worked in London for many years, my regular salon was Sloane Square. Knowing Toni & Guy has a reputation for rigerous training, I visited the Beaconsfield salon when I started working from home. One year later, I moved to the South West and visited Dorchester and now Exeter. My favourites are definitely Beaconsfield and Exeter and cannot rate them highly enough. Friendly and professional and given the longevity of the staff, proves the team is a happy one. The salon that I feel needs direction is Dorchester where the Manager left this year to work for another salon in the town and there only seems to be a small number of staff left. I will now continue to visit Exeter even though I live an hour away.

I called Toni and Guy Peterborough in desperation. My regular hairdresser had not done a good job so I called at 9am and was given a 9.40 appt. the person I dealt with listened to what I wanted and delivered , I will certainly go back.

Toni & Guy was a really good salon I visited, my daughters hair was terribly a mess before we went to Toni & Guy, there prices are totally worth paying. The staff are amazing, they are very welcoming and polite. the salon is well looked after its very clean and it looks very modern. I've been in a few time and its always been busy but they have never been late for your appointment. I would go back to Toni & guy not just for my hair be done, but just for a tea.

After a few bad hair cuts it was nice to get back on track with "Will" at Toni and Guy Brighton Uk. He was absolutely brilliant and such good fun to chat to. as always with the bigger salons just ignore the receptionists at the end of the day they are not who is cutting your hair, you are just contributing to their wages so really what right do they have. Tanks again Will, i Will be back

I was made to feel a lot more at ease than I was expecting, and I finally found somewhere the hair dressers had enough training/experience and confidence to know what I needed, when I didn't. It's just a shame it's so expensive.

I went to the Toni&Guy in Armadale, Melbourne last night and was literally bowled-over by the quality of my visit! From entering the store i greeted by friendly staff who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and even though I was 20 mins early they apologised for me having to wait! I was made to feel $100m throughout the process from initial consultation to wash through to the cut, dry, style and aftercare. My stylist (Laura) was amazing, giving me styling tips and asking at each stage if i was happy with the cut. Even though i was her last customer of the day, at no point did i feel she was rushing to get me out of the door, quite the opposite actually we had a chat after my cut! She advised me on all products she was using, what their benefits were and cost if i was interested in buying (there was NO pressure to do so) I would recommend Laura to anyone, she was just fantastic and I have found my hair-dresser for my stay in Australia and look forward to more visits in the near future!
For anyone not sure about T&G i urge you to put your hair in Laura's hands (along with the rest of the staff) at the Armadale store and judge for yourself!!!

I have been going to my stylist in Sheffield for years, I had been to many different people before him and a couple since I've moved, however he is brilliant and I'd travel back from Essex to Sheffield just so I could have my hair cut by him. I went to the Southend branch today and wasn't as impressed but she's done a good job, although not as good value for money. It's just about your personal style and the way you like to interact with people. You have to make sure you communicate well and take pictures where possible to get exactly what you want!

Have been to the Toni & Guy academy 4 or 5 times now and never ever had a bad haircut, including the time I was cut by a very young student. The teachers come and check every step of the way, which means it takes on average 3 hours to get a haircut done, but it also means there is no screwing up.
The first time I went I was asked if I would agree to a Toni and Guy classic "The Lena", or a variation thereof. I agreed and it looked lovely and really suited me and I have had my hair in this cut for the last 2 years almost. It's the only haircut I have ever had that means I can just wash my hair, let it dry and it looks perfect.
I would highly recomment the academy.

My stylist is fantastic, she is a senior stylist and worth every penny, I trust her to get on with it. I have curly hair and if you find a hairdresser who knows what to do with it they are worth their weight in gold. Toni and Guy really know how to thin hair out, my daughter has a different stylist who does it equally well. It is quite expensive, but if you can find a hairdresser you trust it's well worth it.

I went to Toni and Guy Staines for the first time and loved every minute of my experience. All the staff were friendly from the receptionist, the girl that washed my hair and the stylist. The haircut i received from the stylist was excellent and would definitely go back to Toni and Guy Staines. I thought the experience i received was well worth the money spent.

The prices at Toni and Guy were very keen for what I can only describe as a luxurious place, for highlights and a cut with the most senior people was £120 I have paid that before in a local salon.
I am looking forward to going back.

I walked in to Toni and Guy Northampton, sat with the top stylist and said do what you want. I am fussy with my hair so we discussed what I don't like. I walked out with the best haircut I have had in a long time. He explained in great detail what he planned on doing and if there was anything I wasn't happy with. I will definitely be going there again. communication as with any hairdresser is the key.

Love toni and guys of basingstoke. have tried lots of other salons but i'm always disappointed and return to toni and guys. the colour and cut always lasts at least three months, so even though pricey i don't have to go as often. nicola always knows the best cuts for my hair and i walk away feeling gorgeous. thanks

I'm surprised to see that people have had negative experiences with this chain of salons as I've always been impressed with the service at the Deansgate branch in Manchester. When I want a new look, I want someone to suggest what's best for my hair type, suits my face shape, what's hot etc and a lot of stylists I've experienced in the past don't really do this. As someone with hair that's difficult to tame; trips to the hairdressers have on many occasion been beyond disappointing - I've left with a mullet, a butchered fringe, colour that's far too light... you name it. At Toni & Guy they take creative control which I like, after all they are the hair experts not you.
I was particularly impressed with my most recent trip as I was a bit lost, I only had a vague idea of what I wanted. The stylist made suggestions and even disagreed with my initial idea; I was dubious at first but decided to trust him and as a result I'm really pleased with the final outcome. He even managed to make me buy a product by not really giving me any choice in the matter (more or less said I was ruining my hair by not using anything). I was so impressed with this direct approach that I bought the product and am not usually a sucker for add on sales!
Cuts can be a little on the pricey side however the stylists here know what they're talking about and I really do believe that you get what you pay for. In my experience, the stylists here don't do anything you don't want them to (I asked for my hair to be kept as long as possible, which it has), however I'd recommend thinking twice if you're not really up for any kind of change as you may as well spend a lot less on a basic cut.
Aside from a slightly robotic welcome and drink offer from a junior on arrival, I had a good experience with this salon. A great salon if you're after a new look and want some expert guidance.

Their Portsmouth salon is an excellent salon, which was recommended by a work colleague. The salon is very friendly, and I did not feel out of place at all, as sometimes when you walk into a hairdressers it can make you feel inadequate. My stylist listened to what I wanted and gave me advice on how to achieve my look once I went home. I ended up buying a product, and I love the smell - it's good enough to eat!
Anyone who wants a fresh look should try this Tony&Guy salon out.
