    Good Points: Lovely clean hotel
    Ideal for a relaxing holiday
    Spectacular views from the room
    Friendly staff
    Great Spanish dancing, bingo, karaoke and music

    General comments: We arrived back from the Bellevue Hotel in San Feliu De Guixols 2 days ago. It is a fantastic place for a relaxing holiday! There was entertainment every night. The food was a buffet style arrangement, with a choice of different meats and fish every lunch time and evening, and a good selection for breakfast.

    The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. The bar staff were very friendly to us, and the reception staff were also great.

    The beach, which is a 5 minute walk away is great, and the water is fantastic.

    I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday.
    For people who might find the hill too much, there is a train that stops outside the hotel for the price of 2 Euros, which will drop you right to the beach, or further if you wish.

    I cant fault the place.

    I really enjoyed my holiday at the Bellevue Hotel & I would definitely recommend it! Our bedroom & bathroom was spotless - as soon as we walked in we could smell bleach (always a good sign!!) The rooms were cleaned each day & we were given fresh towels.

    The pool area was clean & was an ideal suntrap fro those of you that enjoy sunbathing!! Although watch out for the sunbeds that have a habit of collapsing on you!!! ha!

    We found the local people friendly although they didn`t speak much english, this was also the case with many of the hotel staff.

    The Bellevue Hotel, in San Feliu De Guixols, Costa Brava, was kept clean for then main part. The rooms were spotlessly cleaned everyday, although the toilets at swimming pool level did get a bit smelly.

    If you are lucky enough to get a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the bay, then what a beautiful sight! Unfortunately we had a view around the side of ...

    If you want an English style resort with high rise hotels, chips, beer, clubs and bars San Feliu De Guixols is not the place for you. It's a very Spanish town and the people at the Bellevue Hotel when I went was 60/50 Spanish to English. The hotel has an old fashioned charm and I would definitely recommend a trip to the Dali museum in Figueras - take the bus to girona and then the train (station in same terminus as the bus) to figueras - travel about £5 per person return and entry to mu ...

    The Bellevue Hotel was quite basic but very clean. the main problem we had was the food. They served fish every night with an alternative of chicken or pasta which did look ok. We decided to try the chicken but it wasn't very good, my partner cut into his and it was all brown and yellow puss came running out of it, not very nice at all, that put us off eating the chicken so we were left to pasta and salad which was very dry.     The people in San Feliu De Guixols are very friendly. There are nice restaurants, bars and market. Perfect place for relaxing on a budget. The Bellevue Hotel was Sweet and clean.
    Short taxi journey to great shopping district playa d'aro.
    Short boat ride to pubs, clubs and water parks.

    2003 - As I said we were warned it was hilly, but not how hilly. quiet place,we went to other places eg gerona, lloret de mar, tossa de mar etc which were easy to get to on the boat from the resort,and on public transport, because it was a smaller resort the natives did not speak as much english..no fault of theirs and we managed. Bellevue Hotel was nice and the view from our balconey was lovely.
