Good Points: Quick handling. Accurate enough for hunting, if you do your bit.

Bad Points: Bad shooter fit. Quite a finicky reloading sequence. Scope to barrel fit could be better.

General comments: On the whole the Brocock Fox is a handy little rifle. Power wise, it is OK for hunting, no 11lbs restriction where I am, so I pump it up as much as I can. Automotive seals seem to be better for the cartridges and maybe a bit stronger.
The shooter to weapon fit is really bad but you get used to that. The loading system sucks for that follow up shot so your hunting skills better be good. To me the Fox seems to be a rushed engineering job. However, in saying that, a great little carbine will do it's thing if you do yours.
On the whole I recommend the Brocock Fox for someone who is a good hunter/stalker. Unfortunately the Fox is getting to be a rarity due to the law change in Britain. So this will be tomorrows antique for sure.
So if you are not in Britain (you need a FAC), get the Brocock Fox and you won't be disappointed, I wasn't.

I noticed that as the pellet comes out of the pellet cap, its already been reduced in diameter and so does not grip as well in the rifling in the barrel. This is overcome by placing the pellet directly in the breech but this is too akward to do every time.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have tried all kinds of pellets and all of them get reduced in di ...
