Beautiful spot. Nice rooms with the exception of roof leaks in the rain. Rooms were kept up with nicely. Beds were made and turned down nightly. The entertainment was pertty good except for the talent nights when the playmakers (employees) made a fool of themselves. Not funny!
First off, almost everyone at the resort got terribly sick the week of February 1-8. We were in a party of 4 so someone was sick during the week and we could not do much, At first we thought it was food poisoning, but so many people got it all week long. Who knows, but it was bad news.
I was not at all impressed with the food. I didn't feel it was up to par with an all incusive as I thought much of it lacked taste.
I was not impressed. We had stayed at other Sandals in the past and this is not one of the better ones.
The staff was pretty friendly, but not near as nice as the employees we met at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica.
Resort is hilly and you have to take a bus to get up the hill to some rooms, restaurants and one of the nicer pools. The view from the pool on the cliff was awesome.

Don't waste your money at the Sandals not worth the money spent. Everything needed a remodel...pool, stairs, elevator, hallways..disgusting. It was the worst vacation ever and there was nothing Luxury about this vacation. It was a waste of money and not worth it. The food was aweful always cold and tasted like its was frozen or microwaved. Our first room was disgusting with no hot water, tiles were so old that they were chipped, aucets were leaving,..etc.. The second room has big cockroach at th ...- Read largime24's review (199 words)

It was like a British Haven Holiday camp but worse. So-called playmates screaming all day long. The Mirage indoor club facility toilets were always locked, and when asking staff why they referred you to the pool toilets. Having to make no reservations for dinner at Sandals Halcyon St Lucia, and finding when you arrive they are fully booked. So basically, the Grande and Regency hotels can book reservations at the Italian, but if you're staying at Sandals you can't. No teaspoons at breakfast time. ...- Read Michellex's review (142 words)

We stayed at the Regency for 10 days (mistake) from 7/4 to 7/14. Here's a breakdown of the stay.
Arrival: We paid for the "honeymoon suite w/pool", so this qualified for concierge service as well. We checked in at the concierge and were offered a shuttle to our room. Since we didn't splurge for the ocean view (almost $3,000 more) we were ushered halfway into the rainforest to our room. We were promised an "orientation" at 11am the next morning. We promptly arrived at the location only to sit ...- Read Unhappy Honeymooner's review (478 words)

My new wife and I went to the Sandals Regency Golf Resort and Spa in St Lucia for our honeymoon. We had a great time. I've done all-inclusive before, and this was the best so far. We were considering going on a cruise, but we are definitely glad we went the all-inclusive resort way.
The food was above average, but not great. However, considering you can eat whenever and however much you want, it was not bad at all. The staff were friendly, and they looked after us. When our air conditioner st ...- Read asumountaineer's review (190 words)

St Lucia, Sandals Regency Golf Resort and Spa - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - SAVE YOUR MONEY)!!!!
My husband and myself have just come back from St Lucia Regency. Our wedding day was "the wedding from hell".
The wedding co-ordinator arrived 20 minutes late when I was supposed to be getting married. I was rushed into a golf buggy and then informed that my husband to be was not there! I had to crouch behind a wall so he would not see me. No sooner had my foot reached the bottom of the stairs th ...- Read lcartwright's review (333 words)

We stayed at Sandals Regency Golf Resort and Spa for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and booked the bluff honeymoon suite with plunge pool, the holiday was very expensive and we were really looking forward to this experience in what they claim is "the worlds most glamorous resort".
We often stay in All inclusive resorts and were in the Dominican Republic in December which was great value for money. However were looking forward to the "ultra all inclusive"
When we arrived we were 'upgraded' to a vill ...- Read lourhys's review (520 words)

We have just arrived back from Sandals Regency Golf Resort and Spa and have really mixed feelings about the place. The original buildings around the main pool are tired, we booked two grandlux beachfront honeymoon rooms for ourselves and our friends, we were shown into rooms that resembled store rooms for old, damp furniture, the bed top sheets were damp, the floors were dirty, damp walls and light switches and a smell that turned your stomach, we complained and asked to be moved, the answer was ...- Read geoffhorrocks's review (250 words)

When I asked my wife to marry me one of the things we agreed was that our honeymoon should be spent at a sandals resort, we wanted pure luxury, good food and a lively atmosphere, but not too lively if you get my drift.
We decided to use BWIA as they flew out of Heathrow on a Sunday and BA/Virgin only flew from Gatwick. This was a big mistake; I have now found out that BWIA has a reputation for delays and poor customer service.
Our outbound flight was due to take 8 hrs to St Lucia, not cont ...- Read smerch1468's review (930 words)
