Good Points: Tasty as hell, cheap, no Budweiser hangover.

    Bad Points: Hard to find.

General comments: Great value and good as any beer out there. Tastes better than any non-boutique beer and costs less than Pabst. Unbeatable value.

I tried to return my empty Red Dog bottles yesterday (11/30/07), and the man at the redemption center would not take them because he said something bad had happened at Plank Road Brewery, but he did not know any details. I hope he is wrong! I hope Red Dog beer will continue to be brewed and will continue to have the same smooth, bold, flavorful taste we have been enjoying for many years.

Best beer, my husband drinks (the only one he drinks), unfortunately, not everyone stocks Red Dog. Need to find some place that carries reddog in 1/4 kegs.

Red Dog is yet another mass-market generic "light lager" that's trying to compete with the other "Big Dogs" like Bud, Coors, Miller, etc. This beer is unremarkable in the worst connotations of the word. A completely bland, almost tasteless beer, with absolutely no character to speak of, this brew serves a single purpose: to get "Joe Six-Pack" good and drunk, cheap. Yawn.

Plank Road Brewery Red Dog - Not too long ago I was kicking back sippin a Red Dog with my friend Dave in early '04. Now he is no longer with us. He enjoyed a 6 pack of Red Dog every night in the cooler. Anyways he passed that on to me and I enjoy it now. It's a great beer that tastes great and you don't have to spend a arm and a leg, keep it cheap Plank.

The best value for a good tasting beer that is
not filling. In NH a 30 pack can be bought for
$9.99 on sale or $12.99 reg. Price.

We love Red Dog and honestly think that if any beer should be fazed out it should be Icehouse. We have been drinkin Red Dog for four years and do not like to drink any other beer on the market, please don't take the dog!!!

Plank Road Brewery Red Dog - Been drink'n the dog since it was a pup. Never go on vacation without a good supply. I just never think about work when the dog is around. Try it with a twist of lime. It is sort of like a work'n mans Corona.

Makes a great re-gift stocking-stuffer. If you have really, really big stockings, of course.

After a hard day of coding, nothing hits the spot on the drive home like a frosty red Bull.

Red Dog is uncommonly smooth. It says it on the can, and its true. Its dirt cheap too. Most grocery stores carry a 6 of talls for $3.50. Best beer money can buy. Gets you pretty drunk. It ain't no beer for sissy guys, and triple black girls. You better leave now, while your head is still full of kitty cats, and puppy dogs. This is a real beer.
