    I had previously registered with Adecco and applied for a position via Secsinthecity.They called and left a message for me I called back 3 times and the person was unavailable so I left messages with my name when I called again I was told I was too late for the position and cv's had been sent off. I emailed and requested my cv sent as I had all the requirements for the position but they never responded!!!!!!!
    Typical recruitment agency of late, very young and inexperienced "recruitment consultants" (if you can call them that)!

    load of rubbish. Adecco never got back in touch. if they though my work history was rubbish why didnt they say they cant help. i think they register people then when the jobs come in they have silly ppl waiting around

    Brief job descriptions, quick links, get what I want.Indicates the number of applicants for each post. Good mail alert system. Well organised updated, versatile useful.

    After 3 phone calls and 2 e-mails Adecco, Stevenage kept saying they would get back to me about a job that I applied for through the Jobcentre. I eventually spoke to Blue Arrow, who told me that Adecco had filled that vacancy a while ago, yet I never received any contact to inform me of this. I would never recommend Adecco to anyone. I have now complained to their Head Office.

    Adecco staff in the Southend On Sea branch constantly made mistakes with me. This being from them deciding not to pay me some weeks to losing holiday forms when I had taken them into the office. I feel I have received bad service from the staff. I found them to have disappointing customer relation skills. I have now cut all ties with Adecco as I believe they are the worst recruitment service I have dealt with.

    I have tried to use agencies to find work before and most of the time they contact me once I have already found another job! I do not wish to tar all agencies with the same brush, but I feel that Adecco has very little sense of customer service. I would prefer if they balanced the Employer's needs with the needs of the employee. I hardly think that not supplying me with feedback is the best way to build brand loyalty.     Arranged to see them in the office and when I arrived the girl was on the phone. When the call ended she proceeded to apparently make a comment to one of the other girls in the office. Although they got me work the next week it only lasted 4 days not the 1 month they said and then when I received my pay I was only paid £6.50/hour and not the £8 they told me. Have complained about this and basically been told it is tough. Not saying all adecco branches are this bad as I have worked ...

    I signed up with Adecco in Newcastle upon Tyne in early Aug 2008. The recruiter I first spoke to was polite and professional and succeeded in making Addecco a professional company organisation. However the problem came when I broke my toe and was unable to attend work, I telephoned the agency immediately and was told the number I had been given for such circumstances was incorrect and that they were not able to transfer me.     I have been contacting the rochdale branch of Adecco every day since may. Every time I left my name and never received a call back so I will not be using this agency anymore. I am a person keen to get employment with this agency but I feel I have been let down I have also told several people about this branch.

    I registered at the Belfast branch of Adecco in May and was very disappointed by the company's apparent attitude towards jobseekers. Whilst the officer I talked with promised to be in contact with news regarding my job search, I received no phone calls. Instead I found myself ringing the company twice a week only to be told that they'd be in contact soon. Several months later and I've still to receive any phone calls and I've moved onto other agencies who were a lot more helpful.

    I would like to thank the Kettering Branch of Adecco for getting me an interview, they rang me on a Sunday afternoon to speak to me about the poistion and have also gone out of their way to arrange an interview that suites both myself and the client. Thanks again.

    Poorly run agency, no communication skill, their payroll is disorganised. I have given up trying to get a payment out of them. I can't believe they have such big companies as clients.

    This was my first job and I was pleased to say Adecco gave me a interview and I was called later that day to say I was given the job, this was a very fast response back.

    They need to sort out who does what and make sure a vacancy still exists when they tell you to call.

    I avoid them!!! They used to be good many moons ago away back in the 70's when you could walk in register and get temp work very quickly. That all seems to have gone out of the window.

    My son who has been out of a work since September went to Adecco and filled out the application forms, they gave him an interview and later on called him to tell him that they had a job for him. It was only for 8 weeks and if they liked him they would consider keeping him on as permanent. Adecco told him that they would contact him with all the details.

    He had another offer of work but turned it down as this was in his field , Media.for the details.

    Over the last two mouths I have applied to them four times for different positions, and despite being given all the information and a phone number and contact name, not one person has contacted me. I have rung Adecco online up a few times to find whether their website actually works, and that they are getting my applications, but I am always told that the person I need is out of the office and will ring me back.     Adecco seem to have no interest in finding jobs for 'normal' people. My friend's daughter has been registered with them for months, but she has no contact, unless she phones them first, and the one interview they did get her, she was told she didn't get the job, but had no feedback. She also enquired about a local job, only to be told this particular company doesn't take on ex-employees (as she is). Her mother later found out this was completely untrue!
