I find some of the previous comments quite strange and wonder if they were in the same apartments. I went with my husband and two sons aged 2 and 5 to the Miami Apartments in August 09. Here are the facts:

1) The location is superb. 1-2 minute walk to supermarkets, 1-2 minute walk to beach, loads of lovely beach front bars/restaurants.

2) Play areas on beach so you can have a drink while children play only feet away from you on beach (always in view).

3) We would go to one of the beach bars after tea and would then trot back to the hotel across the sand (2 minutes) back to the evening disco which the boys loved. Good entertainment on each night after kids disco.

4) Beach is lovely, with shallow waters and pedlos at 10 euros for 1 hour.

5) Food generally good, although the odd weird Spanish dish.

6) The views are amazing both from balcony and the bar. All entertainment is outside so you sit and drink with the sea and lit up bay behind you. (Beautiful).

7) The only one downside is the pool. The whole pool is about 6ft deep, apart from a very small section for toddlers. We were abit put off by this at first, but to be fair, the small section was more than enough for my boys and the others that used it. (Same applies to the adjoining hotel).

8) There are a few nearby hotels that can be a bit noisy, but only with music and there was never any trouble.

9) Bumper cars are available in the evenings only 2 minutes away which my boys loved.

I like to try other places, but would definitely consider going back and would definitely recommend to other people.

just returned from 2 weeks in the miami apatments had great time . accomodation location locals all great . had ground floor apartment wich was great for the kids .recomend marvent restaurant really friendly great food would deffinatley go back. plus had a heat wave wich was great especially has it was raining back home .

Me and my family travelled to the Miami Apartments this month, the apartments in general are comfortable all the usual utensils were provided however the kettle was small and broken and there was no arial in the TV! The swimming pool area and all other communial areas were very clean. The receptionist was not too helpful and very casual about any queries you had. Also the safe deposit box was expensive at nearly thirty euros and no money to be returned. It was nosiy from nearby hotels where ente ...

the miami apartments were lovely. Excellent maid service, cleaned every day. escana resort is great and so pretty plenty of bars and restaurants. We loved every minute of the whole holiday.

I am Married got 4 Kids we went to Miami Apartments last year... It was AMAZING! My kids Loved it and Me and my Husband.Sadly we can't go back this year because were short of cash :( But we will be going Back

Very good value at Miami Apartments for 2 star apartments. Visited second week May when only just opened. Had obviously been painted over the winter. Party consisted one wheelchair person 88 & 3 other adults all over 65. Only adverse comment is that as there is no wall or ceiling lighting in the kitchen area this could be dangerous. Also it would be helpful if an electric kettle and toaster were provided. These were not in the apartment when we arrived but Reception provided them very quick ...

Very clean towels where changed every day, people very friendly. Ate at the hotel every night, food wad good and excellent selection from buffet. Beer expensive as were shops to buy milk bread etc. Overall was good holiday, weather very hot only down side was when we went to airport to go home, the flight was delayed. Had to wait seven hours, was just glad to go home by then.

Apartments were cleaned every day except Monday also clean towels. Pool area was cleaned every night, tv had BBC news and two film channels. Location of apartments are good, right near beach, plenty of bars and restaurants only short walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Have stayed at Miami apartments two years running. Only bad point, found Miami restaurant quite expensive and only small portions, Overall, I would recomend it to any one thinking about taking a holiday to Es Cana

Had a fantastic holiday in Es Cana, stayed in the Miami Apartments, there was 7 of us in total. We had a double room and a twin bedroom and two bed settees in the living area, cable TV, separate kitchen area. Maids came in daily to clean. Pool area very clean, had an amazing time, not too quiet and not too busy.

The Miami apartments were clean with plenty of room. The towels & linen were changed regularly. Es cana is a nice place for families with some really nice bars. The people in the next door apartment left us 3 bags of groceries on the balcony when we woke up. Much appreciated. The location of apartments was great with the beach straight outside.

Es Cana is a lovely family friendly resort , set in a small bay nothing is too far away from the Miami Apartments. You can walk about 30m from the apts directly onto the beach. Bed hire and parasols are available there for a small daily charge.
The apartments themselves are of a good standard, from previous reviews some people seemed to be expecting 5 star quality. Air con on our second visit in 2006 wasn't working quite as well as our first visit in 2005 . That was our main gripe as apartments ...

Apartments were very clean and tidy, staff were very helpful would recommend you see more of the island, it is beautiful Es Cana was spectacular going back in June too St, Eulalia and really looking forward to it.

I would recommend hiring a car and looking round the Island. Ibiza town is a must in the evening. Have a meal up in the castle, its amazing.

a lovely place to stay Es Cana is a small town with lovely places to eat and sit ,bars are plenty ,to suit all, a lovely gentle slopping beach set in a curved bay with eatting places all along. lots of gift shops as well. Be carefull of the pavements they can be slippy! all in all a lovely place for a good family holiday i would go back one day.

On arrival at the Miami Apartments we were allocated a ground floor room (when initially booking the holiday we requested a higher floor), the bedroom was at the back of the apartment with patio doors and a very small terrace right on the poolside therefore no privacy whatsoever! We requested to be moved to a higher floor and were told that there was a waiting list for other guests to be moved up.

Anyway after a few phone calls it was agreed we could be moved to the fourth floor if we paid ...

We had a great holiday and will return to Ibiza. The Miami Apartments are nice and close to the beach, pubs and restaurants, but they weren't cleaned often.

If you are already booked to go to Miami apartments there is plenty of entertainment in the resort. The local people are very friendly and the resort itself is fantastic.

I love Es Cana and I enjoyed staying at the Miami apartments I have stayed in the Miami hotel before but prefer the apartments as you can please yourself when where and what you eat.

Overall very good place, food fantastic in town, would not eat again on beach front near our hotel as very expensive and did not get much. Will definitly be going back and I would stop at Miami Apartments again or I would choose the hotel. The only thing with the hotel is the entertainment. They are really good with the kids though.
Also great tip try the restaurant called "the bulls head" its English and the food is fab.
