Good Points: Price, LCD, Size, capacity
Bad Points: USB cable required, not plug and play
General comments: Some details if you don't know: yes, the LCD on the Andus ReSound 128 displays ID3 tags, or filename if tag not present. The player is not plug and play, but requires a driver installation. I had shakey performance through windows explorer, but worked great through their provided software. The headphone system is great for "wearing" the player, but the earbuds sound as bad as most earbuds do. The EQ function works well, but I would much rather have manual BASS/MID/TREB control through the menu than just select one of their presets. The display is great and can be read from a wide angle. You can adjust the time the display stays on after a button is pressed from 0 to 20 seconds. Even at 20 seconds, the battery seems to last forever. I picked it up for $60 (September 2003), which seems like about the best deal around for a 128 mp3 player with LCD.
