“Completely Useless”

I recently graduated from an MA in Personnel and Development. I am severly not impressed with anything the university had to offer. The course cost me in total £12,000.00. In total I had about 150 teaching hours over the 2 years. It should have been almost double. I finished this course in January 2012. They have lost my certificate and demanding that I pay for my own copy. I have to pay for postage on everything, including posting my marked work, which was consistently late. There was... I studied at the University of Westminster, in Marylebone during 2005- 2008. Overall it was a good experience, as I made many great friends, who I'm still in touch with today. However after completing my Architectural degree, I found it difficult to find employment due to the recession. I do feel that the university could have done more to help many students find work, as most didn't continue on to do their Diploma's. I have just graduated and I am very happy with the experience I have had there. I already miss some lecturers and other members of staff. I also wanted to say that there is a person who is criticising the unis and writing the same long negative comment for the westminster uni and london metropolitan uni. I have been to London Met uni and it looked nice, the staff very helpful. To sum up, do not listen to other people's opinions, read it, but go to the uni and check it yourself before... (read more)

Down the Marylebone Road in London England is a university. I had been driving down this road for 15 years beforehand, and I had not noticed Westminster University until I decided to apply to go there during my access to university course. As I was living close by in Central London, it seemed ideal, so I did not even bother going to an interview at Hertfordshire University, as it was a waste of the train fare to even turn up, I thought.
