Good Points: Cools down my demanding AMD 1Ghz, even when its a hot day. The only heatsink up to the job after I have tried 2 others!!
Bad Points: Hard to fit on certain boards like mine as not much clearence room around the sides.
General comments: The good thing about the Thermaltake Chrome Orb is that it sucks the heat of the CPU die and pushes it out of the sides rather than directly up (as it would bounce back towards the CPU again)
It seemed very quiet compared to the other heatsink I tried before this one, so much so that I put my hand over it to feel if it was working and caught my finger snapping the orb fan and almost cutting off my finger, needless to say I had to order another one and learnt my lesson the hard way!
The 2nd one I ordered was slimline version and it was far easier to fit on my board.
