Good Points: 'I Wanna Go Where The People Go' is one of the Wildhearts all time classics. The single includes three cracking B-Sides that you'll find yourself returning to time and time again. The packaging is top notch and is a nice little collectable.

Bad Points: Bad points? You must be joking!

General comments: You say "The Wildhearts" to someone in a rock club and nine times out of ten they'll turn around and say "weren't they the ones who did that I Wanna Go Where The People Go song?". Released back in April 1995 by East West, this single shot up to number 16 in the UK Charts, helped along by two Performances on Top Of The Pops, in which we saw young Mark Keds (Ex-Senseless Things & Jolt) trying his damn hardest to fill CJ's rather talented boots. The single hit the shops a month before the release of the outstanding album P.H.U.Q., which saw the song as the album opener. And what an opener it is! Anyway, the single came out on CD, cassette and 10" vinyl. The CD format was available in a limited edition passport digipak and also in a standard slimline case. The track listing is as follows: 1. I Wanna Go Where The People Go 2. Shandy Bang 3. Can't Do Right For Doing Wrong 4. Give The Girl A Gun The three B-Sides that accompany the A-Side are all of the usual Wildhearts outstanding standard. 'Give The Girl A Gun' is a haunting masterpiece, whilst 'Can't Do Right For Doing Wrong' will get you singing along the chorus on the first listen....it's that catchy! The whole release is nothing short of genius, and is one that all Wildhearts fans treasure within their collection. 'I Wanna Go Where The People Go' is a great song to introduce anyone who hasn't yet heard the band. Buy this single it's as simple as that!
