    Good Points: Seems to cope with most things I throw at it.


    General comments: With brightness full up it is still quite dull in daylight. The controls on the side mean you very easily accidentally turn it of or reset your settings.

    Good value for money. I have had one for years and the Proview CY765 hasn't let me down. Excellent quality at an affordable price.

    I also got this monitor from Currys, and paid £239 in 2003, which struck me as an absolute bargain at the time. I have had no problems with the Proview CY765 so far. The screen is top notch. I am well into games, and even though 25ms is a bit slow these days, you can't really tell. I will be upgrading soon, but only because I want a 24" TFT!

    I bought 2 of these Proview CY765 17 inch monitors as CRT replacements, I could have gone with more expensive brands but I am extremely happy with these monitors. I haven't experienced any technical issues. Image quality is on par if not better than some brand name monitors and this comes from a hardcore PC gamer. For a monitor with a 25ms response I'm very impressed. If you're looking for bang for buck this is a definate YES.

    I have purchased three Proview CY765 screens as replacements for old CRT monitors in the office. Each of the monitors has at some point stopped working, though a power down has generally reset them. Unfortunately of late two of the three have had to be replaced under warranty! Not what I would call value for money.

    I bought the Proview CY765 17" LCD screen from Currys at a quite incredible price of £229. I beleive for sure, that this was a pricing error but to my advantage, as I have never seen this product at such a price again.

    This really is an excellent product, I realise that with Proview some might be concerned about the make and quality of build. Forget that!
    The 17" screen is exceptional and, having compared it to some of the BIG names, well I'd stick with mine anyday!
