Good Points: Best cup of tea I've ever had. Hot water feels energised.

Bad Points: Expensive, but worth every penny.

General comments: Some people may tell you that this product is poor, and paying £70 for a simple kettle lead is a waste of money. Don't listen to them though, this product is superb. If you're an audiophile, you'd have to be daft to buy one of these leads for your amp, as it has no benefit over a standard lead (do a double blind test if you don't believe me). If you're a teaophile like me however, I can't recommend this product highly enough. Ignore the cheaper models and look forward to the greatest cup of tea you've ever had.One small final point. There is a short burn in period of about a week with this product, during which you may not experience the highest quality of beverage, but after a week you'll taste the joy. This is however until the burn out period begins after two weeks, and your tea consuming experience may start to diminish. For this reason I recommend a constant supply of new Russ Andrews' kettle leads. This way you can spend a week burning in a new lead, while using an older one, then discard the old one and switch to the new. If you follow this advice you'll enjoy a lifetime of fine tasting tea, while keeping Russ Andrews in business long after audiophiles realise they're wasting their money on such products.

I bought 2 Russ Andrews Classic Powerkord cables. One for my CD and one for my amp (both Arcam) and I can't believe the difference they've made! Quiet passages are just that....Quiet! There's less compression and clarity has been improved. I would never use freebie kettle-leads again if I had the choice. No quibble returns policy means you can return it/them if unimpressed and recieve a full refund. So it's got to be worth a trial at least! *bear in mind, I fitted two of these leads at the same ...
