I have now owned a steyr lg110 ft for 2 months,it is a fantastic rifle and extremely accurate however they are not cheap. I feel it has a few issues like the adjustable stock does not extend enough for me ,aproblem my mate has also found. I think also the cheek piece could be better shaped more rounded rather than square edged and the foregrip also could be better as it is like a piece of 2 x 1. For such a high priced rifle i think steyr should also supply a moderater adapter as standard and also a raised scope rail has it has alow scope mount position. Having pointed out these drawbacks I am lucky enough and skilled enough to be able to address these issues and have now got myself a remarkable rifle so if you are thinking of buying one don't let these critisms put you off as they are so adaptable and easy to correct, I also found that they shot best with AA 4.51 pellets which two other club members have also agreed with.
my last words are " superb rifle " if you are prepared to spend a little time on adjusting them.

This a fantastic air rifle. Off the bench it is the most accurate PCP airgun I have ever shot. That includes, Rapids, Daystates, and a slew of FX airguns. The steyr outshoots them all. It hit very hard but I have not it across a chronograph yet. I know when it hits my indoor pellet trap made for .22 LR, it scatters lead all over the room. I know it's supposed to have something to comtrol the kick but I can't tell it. If you don't hold the forearm firmly while shooting offhand, you get alot of mu ...

The Steyr LG100 HP cost me 900, so in my opinion its not cheap, but has pin point accuracy. 5 pellets through the same hole at 60m. Mine when it arrived, didn't come with a filling adapter, and cost a further 25. The cylinder has to be removed to fill, unlike others, if you open the bleed valve, you empty the tank. It has fantastic accuracy, reliable, and is well balanced. some companies do silencer adaptors (barrel only 1"longer than cyl) as these have quite loud muzzle crack. I recommend ...

I owned two Steyr models : LG110 and LG110 HP. Both have the same bad points : bad barrel which never shoots as accurate as advertised in Supplied Shooting Certificate. POI is highly dependable on how you hold it. From time to time you get wild flyers. Their Stabilizer system is just a joke - there's absolutely no difference whether I shoot with it or without it. It's a good 10m rifle, but it's not for higher levels of energy required in FT,e.g.

I owned the Steyr LG100 HP rifle in .177 from Jan to July 2004.
On delivery the stock had a crack in the pistol grip, and numerous scratches & blemishes under the dipped/sprayed black coating. I fixed the crack with epoxy & a brass tubular insert.
The rifle was fitted with a Hydro graphics quick fill & gauge, they also tuned the regulator. At a fill pressure of 200 bar it returned 175 shots at 11.4 ft lb with an average shot to shot variation of just 0.85 fps, this was using Daystate FT pellet ...
