I used Firefox for a long time and then it started getting squirrelly. One day when trying to use it a message popped up saying "Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." I found a forum for Firefox troubleshooting and found going back in time I had 1000s of users for company. Like most other users I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling it without benefit. To keep things current I went ahead and repeated this issue and got the same responses from FF telling me... (read more)

I like Firefox, it has a lot of good features, and the best thing about it is the number of add-ons. Compared to the other browsers, Firefox has miles more add-ons and this makes the difference for me Some add-ons I consider essential. On the downside, Firefox uses a lot of memory, and it sometimes crashes because it's using more than 1GB of RAM. And Chrome is noticeably quicker to use when browsing. If it weren't for the add-ons, I would probably switch to Chrome, but for now Firefox... (read more)

It has some nice features but it's fundamental flaws severely reduce it's goodness. Sometimes when you click on a website that normally works, it redirects to p.orn, or another stupid website which gives results for what you just searched for. It also sometimes corrupts the downloads and crashes frequently(at least it's better than internet explorer which hardly works at all). (read more)

Firefox is the best web browser I have ever used, showing what websites may be attack sites, scanning downloaded files, automaticaly updating, and haveing unreal stability. Firefox is still my favourite browser, although chrome is faster - the sheer number of features and add-ons in Firefox makes it seem more like a complete browser.
Recently it seems to be getting more and more unstable, with frequent crashes, and it's a notorious memory hog - but despite this, I just can't seem to let it go.
In my opinion, it's the best browser out there.. but for how long?

Mozilla Firefox well well well, is one of the best web browsers out there i would recommend this to my family and friends because of the convenience when setting it up, and of course the security when browsing the net is superb! But some of the older versions of this software has some bugs that made me upset, but they already fixed those problems and i must say i really enjoyed the latest release of this web browser, and will stick to it forever. I was getting so fed-up with IE8 hanging up, virus attack attempts and so on that I decided to try Mozilla Firefox 3.6. At first I was quite happy with it, but the more I use it the more I get frustrated with it. Part of Firefox's big selling point is that it's significantly faster than other browsers. Well I've have now tried IE8, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome and Safari against each other and cannot say that I've noticed any significant difference between any of them. There are so many... I found this review not helpful because...
<br/>I think its written by an MS shill. The review states that plugins were not installed, so of course some websites don't work, this is true of any browser, stability is not an issue, nearly all websites work with Firefox. Not credible.

I have been using Firefox for many years now and I have a complete contrast of your review. Firefox for 1 is an open source project and doesn't sell anything so they don't need a selling point, and Firefox add-ons if added correctly, (Not difficult) Are some of the stablest add-ons for any browser, You saying Firefox disabling add-ons because they are unsafe as a bad point.. i don't get it? Isn't it good for them to prevent security holes? Also you can choose to ignore their warning if they do say that.
