“Bought Mine 43 years ago for indoor target practice...”

Written on: 04/01/2010

Bought Mine 43 years ago for indoor target practice when I was in Police reserves. (Retired Fed Cop now) Great Pistol and very accurate. Shot a pesky squirrel the other day with it and yes the seal leaks down slightly but only needed one shot. It's in mint condition and I it is was good for practice with its weight and similarities to the old 38 Police Specials. I don't know its value (with orig box etc) but I give it 4 stars only because it used a lot of gas for 22 cal and a 177 cal would… Read Full Review

I also bought mine in 1968 just before I went in the Marine Corps out of High School. I found it in the basement of my parent's house as we were cleaning out after they passed away. I bought a seal repair kit and a trigger lever(the old one broke) it's a little leaky, but still works and shows age from being on a basement shelf, but still a lot of fun. I had forgotten all about it, but as an aside, it's also great practice for my wife and grandkids as they learn firearms safety and marksmanship.

Its great, $I was lucky enuf to trade it with my good friend who of course broke the seal and he does not replace them its a fremiliarer gun design if you get to work with it its a rare made it the 60s if your lucky enuf to obtain one you should hang on to it and it works like a real hang gun the single shot is gr8. The Crosman 38T pistol looks real its heavy and it makes me look cool infront of my friends. I found that it can be slow reloading not easy to pull trigger… Read Full Review

This is a fun gun to play around with it it quite accurate and durable. I have one that use to be my grandfathers so its like 20 years old haven't had to fix it once the only problem is that there is such a long distance to pull the trigger and it is so heavy that by the time it shoots it misses so I just pull the hammer back and put my other hand on the bottom of the handle under my other hand this way it is much more accurate… Read Full Review

I can't remember when I bought this Crosman 38T .22 cal gun but it must have been at least 20 years ago. I have had it rebuilt 2 times. Its very accurate and feels good in my hand. Loading the pellets is a bit of a chore although it does give the co2 cylinder time to warm up. This gun is not in production any more but if you find one, its worth rebuilding… Read Full Review

The Crosman 38T .22 cal cost me 50.00 used of course, .22cal my 38T prefers crosman pointed pellets, hitting power is really good for a 6inch barrel, I don't know the FPS every where I have checked I cant seem to find out anything.. styling is great weight is awesome very well balanced feels good in the hand, a friend of mine has the .177 cal model with 4 and 6 inch barrels so I'm going to buy that one to from him soon..
