    Good Points: Good battery life, easy to use, good range. I like the friends / family contacts grouping.


    Bad Points: Feels cheap, speakerphone not loud enough.


    General comments: I've had this Philips KALA 300 Dect phone for 3 years now and it has served me well, but it's basic and I'm looking to upgrade.

    Good audio reception all round from the Philips KALA 300 including answer machine and handsfree. Nice bold menu icons but the LED scrolling numbers are sometimes difficult to make out - particularly 8 and 0. Good signal range inside and outside the house. Setting the phone up at the start was a bit of a fiddle until you got used to the button presses.
