    Good Points: Vassiliki is a beautiful resort, with little restaurants and bars next to the waterfront.

    Fantastic scenery and very friendly people.

    Very good quality food at a very resonable price and the local wine is delicious

    Apartments are clean and simple as you would expect from Greece


    Bad Points: No Bad points


    General comments: As a famly holiday Lefkas was a super choice.

    Vassiliki is a beautiful resort, with little family restaurants and bars next to the waterfront.

    Fantastic scenery and very friendly people.

    Very good quality food at a very resonable price from the restaurants to the family bakeries and the local wine is delicious.

    In the evening the town cam alive with locals & holiday makers though surprisingly the windsurfers didn't seem to come into the town much at night

    The beach was much nicer than we expected (inspite of some construction work) it is pebbly but sunloungers are v. reasonable at 6 Euros for 2 / day. The sea is very clean & shallow so ideal for kids

    We caught boats to beaches of Porto Katsi & Ergromeni - Katsi is pebbly, quite busy with italians but lovely swimming

    Ergromeni is course sand, deserted but very little/no shade so go prepared with water, umbrella etc

    Athini Apartments are clean and simple as you would expect from Greece

    In all a super holiday wish i was back there!

    I would definitely recommend Vassiliki as a holiday destination if you're looking for beautiful scenery and peace and quiet - we went in August and were surprised at the lack of people on the (pebbly) beaches during the day, although more people do seem to come out of the woodwork at night. There are just enough harbour-side restaurants to eat (very well) somewhere different every night of the week - fish and traditional Greek dishes aplenty. Prices aren't particularly cheap - standard main cour ...
